Fraudulent/Misleading Website

I had my doubts but gave the seller an opportunity to prove me wrong. Wow, what a mistake that was. Received items on 03/02/2026 and they are nothing like the pictures from the website. Please beware of this fraudulent seller or purchase at your own risk. Don't make the mistake I did. I am attempting to get my money refunded before filing a dispute but I'm not expecting much from this untrustworthy seller.

So Glad I Investigated First - Nothing In My Research Supports That This Is A Legit Site.

I came across this website after seeing an ad on Facebook Marketplace that claimed a retired US military pilot was making handmade weathervanes shaped like famous planes. I thought it would be a great gift for a friend of mine who used to chase subs on Orion P3s back in the day. Since it sounded interesting, I decided to take a closer look.

Right away, I noticed that some of the product photos looked like they might have been computer-generated images. The product examples were also not consistent, with some being very realistic 3D models, and others looking like cheap 2D stamped / cutout forms.

The website said they offered 24/7 live chat support, but I couldn't find any way to actually contact them. There was also no clear information about where the business is located.

When I checked their FAQ, it talked about things like body types, sizes, and colors in a way that didn’t really make sense for weathervanes. The wording was awkward—definitely not what I'd expect from someone who spoke English as a primary language, especially from someone with a military background.

Diving further into the site, there was mention of two other sites/services (?): "Buykud" & "Domiple." Buykud's site sells clothing. Close inspection of the brief background elements of its ad video (landscape, buildings, flora) does not look "American" but more "tropical" (and not in a continental USA manner). Domiple calls itself an international online fashion destination.

I decided to dig a bit further and looked up the website’s ownership. Several indicators were leading to China (e.g., some lettering, the server source).

I even ran some AI checks just to be sure, and nearly every search pointed to this being a highly potential scam site. I couldn’t find any real evidence that it was legitimate.

Even though the site made it sound like it was a local, veteran-run business, absolutely NOTHING else seems to uphold that idea. I

f you are planning a purchase here - BEWARE. If you have already placed an order and are experiencing any difficulty whatsoever, I highly recommend you immediately contact the Fraud Division of whatever payment method you used.
