Scribe Marketer 

Scammed me just recently of over $25,000.00
Do not use this compnay. It is all a huge lie.
I am going to sue them.

I signed on with Scribe back in June of 2023. I paid $1,700 for a publishing package, which supposedly contained the following:
-Book Creation (Proofreading, Editing, Formatting, Typesetting, Layout)
-Press release distribution to 300+ news channels worldwide
-Publishing on all the top-selling local and international platforms, including Amazon KDP, Barnes & Noble, Google, Apple, Goodreads, Walmart, Target, Chapters/Indigo, Book Depository Ltd, Books Express, etc.
-Book Promotion through creating and publishing articles, blogs, guest posts, multiple video trailers, book indexing on all the major search engines, and Social media promotion for 3 months (Any 3 platforms)
-Any 3 Formats of the Book (Kindle, Paperback, Hardback)
-Auto Book Printing and Distribution setup -Complete Order Fulfillment
-Ownership rights for the Author Only
All I got was the book and a "marketing campaign," which was just a Facebook page. Then, they told me about an Amazon sponsorship, which they later called an affiliation, then an optimization. It turns out it didn't matter what it was called, because it was a sham. In this sponsorship (affiliation or optimization?), the following was supposed to be included:
1. Amazon's new releases of the week
2. Amazon's top new author badge
3. Amazon's top rankings in the given genre
4. Amazon's new releases of the month
5. Amazon shows your books to clients who are searching for books.
6. You get better selling prices.
7. No further charges of any sort.
8. All funds deposited and released into your bank account.
9. Further, there are many marketing benefits that will help us get you more sales through the marketing we are doing for you.
I never got any of that because, as it turns out, Amazon doesn't do whatever this was supposed to be. Wish I had known that before paying $800. Good thing I learned from my mistakes, because then, they sent me this email saying that Barnes & Noble had some offer for me. Scribe told me that if I paid $7,000, I would get this amazing thing from B&N. To check the legitimacy of this, I called B&N and got in touch with someone named Ashley. She told me that, not only was this offer malarkey, but they had never heard of Scribe. For the record, Scribe claims they're partnered with B&N, but the latter has never heard of them. I confronted my "project manager" about this (the fifth one I had, because they would randomly change), and he tried to explain that the woman I spoke to wasn't someone within B&N who deals with them, even though Ashley said she was a manager.
The last thing I want to discuss is that Scibe says they're in Chicago, Illinois. That's what their phone number says, anyway. At least, the main one they use, because they have another phone number from Albion, New York. However, I learned that they're actually near Sindh, Pakistan. How do I know this? Because Amazon gave me an alert on my email account stating that someone near Sindh was trying to access my stuff when my "project manager" needed to access my KDP account to publish my book.
This is a summary of everything I had to deal with. There was way more, like trying to tell me that I had to pay for some bogus number (a global ISPN), $2,500 for an audiobook, $1,500 for a copyright, and other things I was told I already had when I first signed on. It was "Liam" who said that, if I remember correctly. Suppose that was even his real name.
Overall, I lost over $4,000 to this company, which I will never see again. All I had to show for it was a book that contained grammatical errors because they messed up the manuscript and refused to fix it, like everything else. Don't fall victim to these people.

I give Scribemarketer 0 stars!! They are a horrible company that will just take your money and give you nothing in return. Never call you back, in fact the last person I spoke with hung up on me. He told me he had other people to talk with. His name was Adam. I have been through so many people. They just keep passing you along. Just to shut you up. If you notice, they never comment on any of the bad reviews. And I have to wonder if the good reviews are made up by Scribemarketer themselves!! I wouldn’t doubt it. They literally stole thousands of dollars from me. I can’t get ahold of anyone and no one has called me in a few weeks now. Like they just forgot about me. They got what they wanted and now I’m a nobody.
Please stay away from this company! They are definitely scammers!!

Alright, here's the deal with Scribe Marketer they’re no magicians, but they've got skills. They showed me the ropes of getting my romance novel out there without boring me to tears with marketing babble. Sales are looking better, and I can actually see my book moving up in the world.

Collaborating with Scribe Marketer on the marketing of my latest novel was an enlightening journey. They didn’t just throw my book into the wilderness of the internet and hope for the best. Scribe marketer published my first book, and then in Jan. 2024 sold me the Authorship program for $4,200 promising a website, a calendar of events for podcast interviews that were promised to be set up, book reviews, a whole promotion package. A month later I contracted to publish another book with Scribe marketer. After too much time elapsed and I received nothing promised as scheduled, I started calling Scribe Marketer to ask why I wasn't receiving the info promised to approve the progress of my paid promotions. I was chastised over the phone and then received an email saying Scribe marketer dropped the ball on my account along with 100 other authors. It was at that time I cancelled my Authorship Program contract due to lack of progress as outlined and scheduled and cancelled my next book, which I hadn't even sent the manuscript for them to view. That all happened in April of 2024, and I have been promised a refund ever since. It is now Jan. 2025, with Scribr Marketer still promising a refund that I have yet to receive. I am over 65 years old. Scribe Marketer took total advantage of me. I want my money back but they will not refund it. Scribe Marketer basically stole over $5,000 from an elderly woman.
