Il Centro - Italian School in Milan Reviews 

I was able to attend the school during a week long language holiday and it was an excellent experience. I got to know Alessandro and Grazia (I decided to change the course to be a little more challenged), both wonderful teachers who adapted every lesson to the needs of the attendees. Absolute recommendation!

I have taken classes on and off at Il Centro since the fall of 2023. I started as an absolute beginner and have come back a few times when I have had time in my schedule. I have learned so much in such a short period of time. The school is run incredibly well and everyone there makes you feel welcome. Additionally, Il Centro has the best language instructors that I have ever experienced (and I've studied a few languages over the years!). They are warm, kind, knowledgeable and have a great understanding of adult education. The classes were fun and enjoyable.

The best

The best language school in Milan. I enjoyed Italian courses with various teachers, and all of them were professional and equally involved as well as passionate about teaching. In addition to writing, speaking and listening, they use creative teaching methods like word and grammar games, peer interactions, peer review and multiple learning sources. Furthermore, the school offers joint trips to various places in Milan. Last but not least, all staff is helpful & very very friendly <3 Here I've met amazing people that I'll never forget! After 1,5 year study, I can freely communicate in Italian. Learning was pure pleasure!

Can't recommend The Centre (Il Centro) highly enough. I completed a full month 4 hr/day program and absolutely loved the school, the teachers, the location and the learning. Bravissimo!

I had a great time and learnt a lot in a short period of time! The teachers are very talented and the classes are personalized and fun.

Il Centro is a great place to learn Italian, located in the beautiful neighborhood of Brera.
In the meantime I've taken evening classes, the intensive course and the standard course.
Their teachers are great, great staff and there's a nice informal atmosphere in the school.
Usually, once a week there's also an excursion that you can sign up for and it's a great way to discover the city and learn about its history.

Il Centro is the best school in Milan to learn Italian language and the culture. They are very professional, well organized and at the same time they make you feel like at home. They are very friendly and very helpful. Their teaching method is unique and innovative which brings you a fluent speaking level quickly and easily. The Best Italian School in Milan

I can confidently say that this is the best Italian school in Milan, and probably one of the best language schools I’ve ever attended worldwide. The teachers here are absolutely amazing—well-prepared, attentive, and detail-oriented. They don’t just focus on teaching; they make sure the entire group progresses together, without leaving anyone behind. The teaching method is incredibly effective—honestly, the best I've encountered, not only in Italy but anywhere in the world.

Thanks to the emphasis on group work and cooperation, which the teachers really value, I was able to learn Italian very quickly. The staff is also extremely kind and welcoming. Enrica, the founder of the school, is always available and is like a second mother to all the students. She’s always ready to help with anything you might need, whether it’s related to school, adjusting to life in Italy, or settling in Milan.

I highly recommend this school to anyone in Milan who wants to learn Italian, as well as to those looking to study online. Even after I returned to Miami, I continued my Italian lessons online and couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Il Centro is an INCREDIBLE school! The teachers all truly care about you and the office staff will always help you when you need something. These people have hearts of gold and teachers that truly love what they do. I’ve felt supported since day one and can now speak Italian like I’ve always wanted to for years. The teachers are qualified, and support a relaxed but challenging classroom environment with a variety of activities to practice speaking, writing, grammar, everything. Really, this school has such a special place in my heart. These people have become my community, my friends. Also killer location in Milan!
