No shark tank
The shark tank wasn’t open and vr at the end was really good

great experience apart from the fact that the shark tank wasn't open
Jog on
Not only is the pricing extortionate but looking to book a family visit during half term I just gave up - with 2 young children plans can change in an instant and their NO REFUNDS NO TRANSFERS terms and conditions are an absolute turn off for what should be a family friendly attraction. In conclusion - no thanks!
Sea Life Trust should urgently…
Sea Life Trust should urgently reconsider their partnership with Merlin, whose new Ride Access Pass rules now effectively exclude many autistic and neurodivergent children who cannot cope with crowded queues. A charity that stands for care and protection should also stand for disability inclusion; continuing to work with a company applying such discriminatory criteria is deeply disappointing for autistic families like ours.
Awesome and informative
The variety of fish on display and the awesome presentation. The information boards were very informative. I think a tour guide will make the experience more interesting.

I would never go here and support what this zoo does. They have trapped in a basement little Penguins. They don’t breathe fresh air. They don’t ever get to feel sunlight. It’s horrific! You can sign a petition to help them!
Sea life Trafford
Had an amazing time seeing the mermaids in August 2024, my little one shouted down the whole place when seeing them, was amazing we watched a few times as they did different things, next time we will bring a light up necklace so they know where we are but a glow stick was provided. I gave 4* as one photo didn’t have a great picture of a family members face and it would have been nicer to have used a different family picture instead of the dad one. Had a great time looking round and other than the mermaids the play area is brilliant.
Amazing visit!
Had a great trip here for our 2yr olds birthday! Everything was laid out really well and there was things for every age. Thanks for a great day!

Driven by money, no respect for other beings
15 penguins trapped in a basement, with no sunlight, no fresh air, and only a swimming pool. Who do you think you are, and what gives you the right to decide their fate? You are driven by money, showing no regard for these innocent creatures, ripped from their natural habitat to satisfy the morbid curiosity of selfish minds. Teach children to love and respect animals from a distance, not to possess them or exploit them for their own entertainment. Every creature on this Earth is free and belongs in its natural environment. It’s a stupid society we live in, a stupid world

Horrible cruel disgusting jail for the animals. If you have at least a little bit of heart, boycott this place
If you care about animals dont go!
If you care or are fond of animals in anyway, stay away from this place! It is truly awful to see the way in which some of the beautiful sealife is kept. They have penguins kept in a basement in a tiny enclosure it is so so sad to see. Please do not give me the standard answer of how you care for the animals and how you work with vets blah blah blah! If you did care those penguins would not be kept in the conditions they are for profit....please do not insult my intelligence with messages about conservation. It is incredible that in this day and age with the knowledge we have that we believe this is OK!
Sea life centre
We had a great day at the sea life centre last Friday. But the photo opportunity we had I thought wasn't value for money. We were expecting two my copies of the photo that was taken and we only received one. We also didn't see the giant turtle 🐢. I bought a bracelet from the gift shop and the charm has fallen off already
Awful
Too hot. Too crowded. Claustrophobic. Penguins were in a terrible pen made of concrete. Distressing. Avoid.
*** DISGUSTING!!
*** DISGUSTING!!! Sea Life London are keeping their penguins in horrendously inhumane conditions in a dark underground cave with no access daylight. Please do NOT visit and and support this cruelty!

Sad VR
Unfortunately, the VR experience was severely impacted due to technical issues. Specifically, 4 out of the 6 VR seats were out of order because the headsets were not charged, rendering them unusable. As a result, my group, which consisted of 3 adults and 8 children, could not fully enjoy the experience. One child and all three adults were unable to take part in the VR experience due to the long wait, while the remaining 7 children had to wait for over an hour.
To make matters worse, we could overhear other visitors discussing their frustration with the extended wait and the parking situation, which added to our overall dissatisfaction. Additionally, two customers behind us were allowed to proceed before us because their parking tickets were about to expire, further highlighting the disorganization. The entire experience was incredibly disappointing, and the timing was very poor, especially considering the excitement we had for the VR activity.
London Sea Life
We did London eye, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life package deal. It was well worth it. Sea Life London as we first went in it was lovely. The sea life was incredible only thing we found is that the shark tank seem to have been a huge tank that we kept looking in too. By the end we found personally it was too much and wish there was something more to have looked at. However it was a lovely family day trip. Not sure tho if we'd go again.
Wow Birmingham Sea life
Wow! We have been to a couple of Sealife centres (London, and the theme park Sealifes through Merlin). Birmingham Sea life is by far the best. It’s so well laid out and even has sea otters. London sea life has what can only be described as depressed penguins. Here at Birmingham Sea Life the penguins are so playful and active. We were lucky enough to encounter Anika who knew all about the penguins and how to engage them ( dangle keys). Anika was so knowledgeable and kind. As we continued our journey unbeknownst to us Anika had recommended us for a behind the scenes tour. Poppy our tour guide approached us and offered the tour. She was so kind. The tour was very informative and the children were completely engaged. Poppy had a brilliant rapport with the children and we as adults enjoyed the tour very much. Excellent staff aside, the centre is far superior. The tunnel that you get in all sea life centres is longer, bigger, and also has a glass floor. Also of mention, were some very nice women offering storey reading, and Laura in the gift shop was particularly kind and pleasant. I highly recommend this sea life.
