Bought this as I was suffering from…

Bought this as I was suffering from aches and pains, with it saying it specifically helped. Made it worse but it has now given my wife terrible backache/pains near her shoulders, ended buying a topper to try and make it softer. Obviously the bed is too firm, quality and workmanship of the mattress is good but overall it hasn’t brought me or the wife a good nights sleep.

Mattress fillings and components will naturally bed themselves in, especially in the areas where body weight is concentrated, however it should not be detrimental to the performance of the mattress.

Not sure which mattress you are referring to. The one we purchased on 5/01/2026 which we retuned or the replacement we received on 9/03/2026.

Brilliant experience from head office sales through to the delivery all very efficiently organised. contacted Sealy to obtain information…

I contacted Sealy to obtain information on their mattress they supply to P&O. Back ground; Having sailed on the cruise line many times and had a good nights sleep I inspected the mattress in October whilst on a cruise, obtaining all the details. As I suffer from back issues I thought I would look into the matter but found that retail suppliers dont stock the Marine Crest. So I contacted Donna, senior sales consultant at the head office of Sealy UK who was extremely helpful. I advised of my dylema and she explained I could purchase one as a guest buying as the outlets did not sell that particular model of mattress. As I did not wish to take a gamble with any other type of mattress, I gave Donna the size of my mattress, a double and my contact details, then paid by bank transfer Following which a date was arranged for the delivery, the chaps were absolutley brilliant on the day, up the stairs and placed on bed. Had a great nights sleep ever since, just like when on a cruise.

My experience was generally good.

My experience was generally good.

The new mattress was delivered on the planned day. The delivery team were efficient and courteous. Our experience with the mattress to date has been good, apart from some initial smells (probably from the materials used in the manufacturing process). All seems well now.
