Today

Today, Lisa and I went to Sea World for New Years Eve. That’s the moment everything went downhill very fast! We were caught in line at the parking admission booths, which they were charging customers $35 for general parking. Apparently, they were having technical issues and the line didn’t move for a half hour. My ulcerative colitis was acting up bad and there was no way to make a U-turn to exit the park. In my opinion, they didn’t care one bit how long visitors had to wait. Guests be damned, they were going to get their money regardless how long cars had to be inconvenienced to fix their problem. By the time we reached the booth, Lisa asked the attendant to expedite charging her credit card. The moment she appealed to him, this individual saw an opportunity to escalate our frustration by standing there holding our credit card. At this point, I’m panicking and told him that I had to go to the bathroom; “Either charge the card now or give it back now!” He continued to stand there holding our credit card. I demanded that he give the card over immediately. I was done with this miserable imbecile. When he finally handed it back, I pulled away to leave. That’s when he jumps on his radio to call security. I flagged down a parking attendant to tell her I was about to have an accident and that someone should fire the disgruntled booth moron. She escorted me to the park entrance so I could go to the bathroom. At this point, I was immediately surrounded by park security, who said I was accused of brandishing a gun at the booth attendant. I told them I was about to defecate right there. They weren’t letting me go anywhere. I had to wait for a sheriff to arrive. I surrendered my license and my concealed firearm license. I demanded that they pull the recording from their security cameras and ask the booth attendant to describe my gun. After another thirty minutes, they finally escorted me to the bathroom. Afterwards, they admitted the imbecile didn’t say there was a gun. SO WHO DID???!!! I deserve a straight honest account of how they failed so badly at customer service. Where in the woodpile did “brandishing-a-gun” filter down to make their security overreact and detain me like that? So almost an hour goes by that their manager approached me to tell me that he’ll allow us to enter the park. The manager, Tim, never apologized for his unprofessional staff. I told him I had no intention to enter the park. In fact, I’m going to seek legal counsel. This is NOT the way to treat guests!!! If you visit Orlando to go into theme parks, you’re doing it at your own peril. That should be actionable to escalate a situation like that by starting a lie, making false criminal allegations. Wow! Think twice before entering Sea World.

I feel raped!!!!

I feel raped!!!!! Over 1000 spent on Seaworld for 1 day and never got on a ride. Long lines. Expensive everywhere in park. Not an average Joe place as far as cost. It’s a shame they need to rob people preying on their emotions. Shame on Seaworld owners!!!!!!!!! Never again!

Overpricing

Had not been to sea world for many years and was looking forward to the experience but the first thing that caught my attention driving in was the 30.00 parking fee, then the rental price for an electric cart at 100.00 for the day which was not even told to me by the cashier, She was rude, hurried you through signing the paperwork, in fact I wasn’t even done that she was rushing me to enter my credit card for pymt. she never went over the fees or anything. Since we bought an annual pass coming into the park we did ask about a discount and answered with a big NO. I assumed that when I was charged 100.00 plus a fee part of it was a deposit of at least half the amount. But when we went to turn in the cart she no deposit refund because that was the cost. Just never dreamed a ECV rental would be that much, I came away feeling like we had been taken advantage of. And the prices for food is insane. $64.00 for my husband and myself and food quality was poor to say least. This is for a small quick service meal not a restaurant. You are price gouging on these items…. If I could get a refund for the annual pass I would because I have no desire to return…
Employee’s need better customer service skills and training in quick food service areas and shops.

Everything is wrong

Everything is wrong! Don't waste your money! Have been going there for years. Not what it used to be. The exhibits are horrible the rides are short. The shows are shorter. The park is run down and they lack employees.

Disappointing

Disappointing. Staff has been always rude, the park itself is crumbling. Better spend your money in other other parks. Does not worth 100 dollars for that.

I had a wonderful day a Sea World in Orlando

I had a wonderful day a Sea World in Orlando, Florida. Not too hot and was not crowded. Thats because it was on a week day. Everybody was nice and the shows were fabulous. The trainers were great with the animals and the animals seemed to be happy to what the trainers asked if them. Took lots of pictures that I would like to show, but review doesn't give an option for it.

Howl-O-Scream October 15

Howl-O-Scream October 15, Review:

The first bad thing happened during parking. We paid for premium and none of the employees directing traffic knew where to send us. After going from one person to another we just guessed and parked. There were no signs or anything. Even now, I have no idea if we parked where we were supposed to.

We purchased the most expensive fast passes. These are meant to include all of the haunted houses, several rides and proffered seating to the show. We might as well have thrown our money in the garbage.

Just like parking, there were zero signs or employees to tell us where to go. We had to work our way through every line just to attempt and find a sign, usually somewhere near the halfway point. But even after finding where to go, the employees couldn’t be bothered with helping us. One even said just to push our way through the people in line and work our way to the front… To me that sounded like the fasted way to upset the other guests and terrible advice when all they needed to do was hang a sign at the line entrance. You know? Like how every other park does, including their sister park, Busch Gardens.

The ride experiences were worse. I honestly don’t know why they sold ride fast passes when the ride operators refused to honor them. Instead, they sent us into a 1.5 hour line for Mantis. The operators told us to just wait the hour and a half as they knew nothing about the ride passes. Same with Mako. The only ride we ride that punched our card and actually had a clearly marked line for was Ice Breaker, but that experience was the worst part of the night! The operators insulted us by first insisting that we wouldn’t fit on the ride so they made us step through and then tried to kick us out when I asked if we could try. After kindly arguing with us, using e wry word to describe our body types without saying “fat”, they finally agreed to let us try a different row. We fit perfectly. And do you want to know why? Because neither my wife or I are over weight or tall or disabled or have ever had any issues on any ride. I will be happy to post a picture of us if you feel the need to scrutinize us further, but I cannot begin to tell you how embarrassing that was for my wife and I!!! Others in line were actually laughing and swearing. The operator even smiled. And that was the first thing we went on.

As for the haunted houses, they weren’t that great. They felt plotless, without scares, and were more confusing than fun. The pirate one was okay, but mostly because the actors seemed like that had actual lines to say that fit the atmosphere.

To sum up, we wasted money for passes that were not honored, we were insulted, and no one knew or cared where we were supposed to go.

They only thing that was a quick experience, where the employee was helpful and knowledgeable, was buying the overpriced and useless express passes. Since when has Sea World turned into this?

I believe Orlando can never have too many great horror events, but this experience was messy and cruel. Sea World came across as greedy, unprofessional and heartless… I was one of their biggest fans and they just took our money and treated us like garbage.

Dilapidated

Dilapidated. This place is the worst theme park in Australia. It is littered with closed rides and minimal staff.

Great, if you want to come and see a fish but all the other attractions are just run down and there is minimal staff. I can’t see this place lasting much longer.
It looks worse than Dreamworld did just before it closed.

My god! Even the toilets were all blocked next to the busted castle ride. Tried to call to let them know and the on hold time was so bad, I gave up.

I wish I could give a zero

I wish I could give a zero. On my park day, the weather turned bad and for hours there was lighting and thunder. It started right when we arrived. We never got to do one thing because the park closed all attractions. They refused to give a refund of the entry ticket at the park and said to call a number that they gave me. After spending 40 minutes on the phone with them they came back and said they won’t do a refund because it is company policy.

This was due to lighting where they closed the park and they still take your money even though they closed. This is theft in my opinion.

Don’t take any chances, don’t go and do one of the many other theme parks.

Cancelled account but still charging me fees.

I use to have a Seaworld San Diego Annual pass. When I look at my online account, I don't see any "active passes." I called once to cancel my old account, which is probably why I have "No Active Passes" showing in my account. I check my bank and charges have been deducted from my account. I call customer service and they say that "I should have cancelled the account." BUT I have NO ACTIVE PASSES to cancel. Really Seaworld, you could do better than that.

I just wanted my refund.

If I could leave a negative 5 I would

If I could leave a negative 5 I would. We saved money for a trip to Seaworld and Disneyland. We don’t often get to travel. We bought city passes for Disneyland and Seaworld for 7 ppl. Disneyland went great but we got to Seaworld at 3 pm and they said they closed at 5….. I had literally just called two days before and I was told 8:00 pm.

Sea World Refuses Cancelations and Refuse to Give Refunds

I made a reservation for Sea World. I didn't realize that they refuse to offer refunds. I had an unexpected huge expensive come up for my car, so we are unable to make the trip to Sea World and Aquatic. They don't care and refuse to give me a refund. They said that I can use the tickets the next time we are going to be in San Antonio. That's going to be at Christmas, and they will be closed. They are extremely selfish by refusing to refund their tickets under certain circumstances!!!! Now I'm not sure it's worth even going, but they stole my money and refuse to give it back at all, so I guess we'll go eventually. It's still extremely unprofessional way to handle things!!!!

Blackfish and afterward

Saw an article about Whale and Dolphin Conservation, a group working to get an Orca called Lolita (not at Seaworld, but another Florida sea park) freed from captivity and I made a donation in memory of Tilikum, the Orca about whom Blackfish, the intensely moving documentary was made and after I saw it I bought a “free Tilikum” T shirt which I happened to be wearing when I saw the article. Anybody who can see Blackfish and still book tickets has to be heartless. IMHO.
