Fictitious Product Description on sebwel.net

I ordered a “Garden Art-Metal bird balancer” from Sebwel.net. It was meant to be a wedding anniversary present for my wife. Including shipping, it cost $44.97 USD (£33.75).

It was advertised as being made of metal and designed to balance in the wind, rocking back and forth, with its wings flapping. The website claimed that “The wingspan of an eagle is about 30cm. Including the stake they are between 25 and 45 inches.

I was severely and utterly disappointed with what arrived. It was worth less than $1. It was made of plastic and stood less than 10cm tall!

I assumed that they had sent me the wrong product by mistake and emailed their customer support address and the email from which I received the original order confirmation. There was no acknowledgement or reply.

I still have my order confirmation, a link to their product description, a photograph of the tiny plastic model that I received and the emailed complaint and letter that I sent them.
