It's electrifying!!
Totally amazing experience. Would gladly go back. What an amazing time my group had. The cast, the set, the props, the food vans and the rides were all fantastic. As a massive Grease Fan this was superb. Everyone that visited was fully involved in the Grease World.

Another incredible show from Secret…
Another incredible show from Secret Cinema! Grease was so much more fun than I could have imagined - from the incredible dance routines, to the cast interactions (helping play pranks on other characters, making joke announcements on the tannoy system and serenading the head teacher being highlights!) - it was the perfect antidote to the real world! Thanks to everyone involved - you rock!

Overpriced Flash Mob
Having been blown away by the empire strikes back trailer, I signed up for secret cinema immediately, without actually knowing what film I'd be watching.
Grease was announced in due course, which was great as while not a huge fan, it's a film I've enjoyed since I was a child.
Have to say that I found the experience very confusing and hard to follow.
Nothing against the actors who did a sterling job, but as the location was just an nec car park, everything was at ground level and there was no signposting or programmes issued to elaborate on what was going on and when. It was very much like a grease flash mob or street theatre. Certainly not bad, but worth nowhere near the £70 ticket price, especially as food was pricey and tickets for rides were required and very expensive.
Once the actual film started, and the actors played out a small amount of the scenes in parallel, it was a joyful experience, but the extortionate ticket cost vs a low budget, confusing experience and what amounts to a drive in movie, have left a bad taste in the mouth
Absolutely amazing night
Absolutely amazing night! I definitely feel like I stepped onto as live set.
The actors & actresses are out of this world.
Fantastic night for any member of your family.

Had a fabulous experience at the Grease…
Had a fabulous experience at the Grease live event. It was my first with secret cinema and it didn’t disappoint. The actors were fantastic and really engaging. Don’t wish to say too much about the event as not to spoil it for others. My only comments are against the price of the food and drinks, we had premium tickets so it was included, but to be fair we really just paid for it in the ticket price and I didn’t understand why we had to pay extra for the fairground, however saying that it was fabulous and will be looking out for future ones

It was so much fun
It was so much fun, you feel like an extra in the film, the actors were brilliant. Once you get the hang of what to look out for you get fully involved.
As expected at an event food and drink were on the more expensive side but wasn’t unreasonable at all. Parking team at nec didn’t update the digital signs so find car park felt like part of the experience lol but if a secret but we got there.
Honestly so much fun we just had standard tickets which were great, would have been good if all thing I.e. fair ground was included in ticket price but didn’t dampen the day or experience. Honestly you have to do it’s just fun.

Phenomenal Summer Night
We were absolutely blown away by the Secret Cinema Grease show! As a group we’ve been attending SC for years and we bought tickets as we love going to the shows and we were all wow’s by how much we enjoyed this when none of us were particularly huge fans of the film.
The cast were out of this world (shout out to the Pink Ladies, they were all fabulous) and provided some of the best interactions we’ve had at an event. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t fault this.
Particularly loved it being a bit closer to the North as we usually travel to London from Blackpool so the shorter travel time was amazing!
Cannot recommend Secret Cinema enough to people :)

We visited twice the first time it…
We visited twice the first time it rained the whole show and the cast were all wearing rain macs, we decided to go back and hoped for better weather.
In the dry this was a brilliant experience the cast interacted with the crowd and stayed in character the whole time the whole experience was so much better second time. Rizo you have a great voice, Sandy you are as sweet as the character you portrayed the whole cast were great and security team did a great job.

Amazing accessible experience
My 4th Secret Cinema experience and it did not disappoint! Being an outdoor event we took ponchos and waterproof Blankets but luckily we only had 1 shower an everything carried on through. I took my mum who has mobility issues and the staff could not have been more accommodating - a quick email was all it took to get seating in the accessible area, they looked after us during the Bandstand contest inside getting my mum a chair to sit on right to the front so she didn't miss anything. The actors are amazing and fully in character the whole time. Just another amazing experience.

The best show I have ever seen
The best show I have ever seen! From start to finish I was blown away with the venue, actors, food and even the security added to the experience. No complaints at all. We drove for nearly 3 hours to see this and it was 100% worth it! The attention to detail and interaction from the actors was second to none.

Nothing like other SC events
I LOVE secret cinema events. My sister and I have been to so many. Dirty Dancing, Guardians of the Galaxy, Bridgerton, Stranger things… and more! I rave about them to everyone. So when we got the email about Grease we were so excited! And immediately booked our tickets.
I wasn’t best pleased to receive an email only a short while later offering tickets at almost half the price we paid (we paid full £70 each) as a loyal customer I felt a bit cheated to be honest, but hey Ho. We were still excited.
At the station signage was non existent. The queue to get in was VERY long. Everyone was allowed to keep their phones which I found really disappointing. I love the experience being immersive but people with their phones out the whole time takes you out of it. Signs said don’t film the cast but I saw so many people with phones shoved in the actors faces.
Once in it was WAY busier than any other Secret cinema event I’ve been to. The others seemed to have the perfect amount of people. Not too crowded and means you feel able to get involved and immersed. This was absolutely rammed. The queues for the bars were so long.
The bars were high and didn’t advertise all the drinks, which made ordering confusing and difficult. They were very expensive but that’s not really unexpected.
There were a few free activities, but the fairground rides cost a lot extra and the queues were long. We went on the ferris wheel, but missed quite a lot of what was going on because of the time it took. You even had to pay for things like coconut shy type events. It just seemed unnecessary.
We went into the gym to see the dance competition. It was so busy that you couldn’t see anything unless you were in the front row. And I mean nothing. Just people’s backs. It was very overcrowded, you were shoulder to shoulder in there. All I could see was the ceiling of the marquee. That was so disappointing. Once outside we got lucky with where we stood as we were in the front row, but anyone further behind wouldn’t be able to see at all because of the amount of people.
The actors were amazing though, and the film and music numbers were great. Although if the weather had been bad it would have been completely miserable.
Also, there was absolutely no sweet options for food. Usually you can get churros etc, but there was nothing like that at all.
And, there were no ‘secret’ bits! The thing that I love about the experience!!
Overall we felt this was very poor in comparison to the others. Not at all immersive due to how busy it all was, people with phones out and having to pay so much extra for things.
Very overpriced for the experience this time. Sadly it’s made me wonder if I’d actually go to another one now.
@secretcinema most appalling experience…
@secretcinema most appalling experience in torrential weather. How can you knowingly let an event go ahead & call it an 'experience'. Certainly an experience, in how to get pneumonia. No apology, no offer of goodwill.
Don't book with them. They'll take your money and don't care.
AVOID - don’t waste your money. It’s a rip off.
We went on Wednesday 26th July. Whole night was terrible. The weather was appalling and there is no contingency for this. 45 minute queue to get in, long queues for all the overpriced food. Very limited drink choices. Only dry place was the ‘gym’ but you weren’t allowed to stay in there. This was on a slope do you couldn’t see anything going on.
There was no interactive experience. We paid £45 and even the fair ground rides are still extra!
It’s a rip off from start to finish. The cast danced to one song when the film started then disappeared. To make matters worse, the bar was shut by 9pm (what event ever does that?!) and the whole cast were INSIDE in the dry having a very jolly happy time while we froze outside. I was absolutely fuming. The security tried to tell me that it was closed due to ‘health and safety’ but Secret Cinema know exactly how many tickets they sold. Most people had left by 9pm so there’s thousands of u happy people from that night, but mysteriously no negative comments on social media.
Customer service is non existent. They don’t care about the thousands who have a bad experience and ignore your emails and contact via social media channels. There is no phone number (for this reason I suppose). I’ve seen some people were offered free return tickets but we haven’t even had a response from email, Facebook or Instagram.
Avoid this at all costs it’s a rip off and nothing but an outdoor cinema with terrible customer service, they edit comments on social media so it looks like an amazing experience. They don’t care once they’ve got your money, Don’t waste your money,
