I signed up and tried to generate a short free video. I clicked generate for free and was taken to a page to pay. Sorry but this is a scam. I'm not signing up if I can't try.
In my humble opinion - AVOID!
I keep buying credits for my renders as it wouldnt do as instructed what basicaly makes you to splash your money on renders that you didint requested, it feels like its doing it on pupose....
I signed up and used the Seedance AI product for a few weeks with the Premium Plan for $49.90 per month. I opted for the paid rate as there is little you can do on the free one. Tried different "Text to Video" options - the Seed Plus model (320 credits per video), Wan2.1 Plus (200 credits) for scenarios with a bug in the woodland that I ran through ChatGPT. Since Seedance couldn't make the video I needed, I simplified the script - and still didn't get the video I wanted. Not in any model.. I contacted tech support asking for a refund, but no one answered and the money was not refunded. My opinion is while Seedance can't perform realistic video generation as written and needs serious refinement, the support is also lame.
I subscribed to Seedance AI's “Unlimited Video” plan for $89.9, expecting to generate high-quality videos. In reality, I could only generate 20 videos, each with very poor resolution and file sizes (about 1.5MB per 10 seconds). There is no proper HD export.
Even worse, their refund policy is misleading. If you use just a few credits, you lose all refund eligibility — even within 3 days of purchase.
This experience was very disappointing, and other creators should be cautious before subscribing. The pricing is steep and the results are far from what's advertised.
