In most non English courses, the lecturers either talk complete gibberish, or the subtitles are badly mismatched, rendering them completely useless. The web UI is also very buggy.

Being already acquainted, I wasn't sure this plaftorm was right for me. Instead, courses like the one by DVS1 and Conrad surprised me, they are full of wisdom. Great content!!

This platform is a great idea.
I always find something to learn in DJ and producing videos.
The only thing that makes me not use it as much as I could is that I'm more a House Dj than a Techno one and I really would like to find more content close to my DJ / Producing style :)

For beginners, seedj offers a lot of content. If you are more advanced, i would not recommend this platform. Unfortunately, the website lacks a lot and a lot of features do not work very well. It seems underdeveloped.

I do not really understand negative comments. This is one of the best resources for music production courses and DJing. Such courses as the one by Quelza are already worth the money.

So far I have only seen the introductory masterclass classes of the program that have been assigned to me based on my preferences. The content has been very inspiring, clear and complete, covering from tradition to the newest, and trying to foster a healthy relationship with music and the profession.

The platform is an amazing educational center and a shortcut to international gigs. The team that handles said gigs is incredibly professional and respond quickly. The courses on the platform are great if you want to get into producing, however I found it a bit lacking in the DJing categories. A watched two full courses and started a couple more, but I didn't find anything all that new or useful. Overall I highly recommend the platform for finding gigs and producing!

It was really inspiring for me! All lessons good prepared and really useful. Also, great choice of artists with real scene experience. Thanks a lot!

I'm fond of the idea, but the overall concept seems lacking, I'm not particularly happy with how slow/careless they are with contests. If you're releasing tracks and have a tight schedule, the schedule imposed on the contest section isn't always accurate, it slows you down and it can be detrimental to your career. I noticed there is a DJ boot camp but after reading the trust pilot reviews I'll consider whether or not I'll spend my time checking it out. The courses are good for rookies but the general website is okay.

I like the honest videos and the deep dives. I would like the videos produced to be updated from time to time to keep up with the new stuff they make.

Great platform to learn music production from scratch by experienced musicians!

Pretty disappointed with this course content. My expectation was that it would go far deeper, be more technical, and provide real technical and musical knowledge. Instead it seemed unplanned and very surface-level with low production quality.

The website looks like it has been created in 10 mins and is not even finished. The information on contests are not even clear and look like Seedj is here for the money and not for the music, as a lot of people in the music industry.
I will probably cancel my subscription soon, way too much expensive.

By accident I booked a class in french.
I ask to switch it against one hold in English.

Update: The answer under this review is not true, don't fall for it! I have not received a refund after 8 weeks and have asked several times. It was promised again and again and nothing has happened. The company is also not based in the Netherlands. If you go to the terms and conditions page at the bottom of Seedj, it says:

This company is not reputable. Do not subscribe to the service under any circumstances!

I strongly advise against subscribing to this service. The content is not worth it and some of it is of poor technical quality.

The worst thing, however, is the way Seedj does business. Even though it is often claimed that the service is from the Netherlands, the company behind Seedj is actually based in Dubai. This means that even if the terms and conditions are legally sound, you cannot expect to get your money back in the event of a refund, as the company behind the service is legally untraceable from within the EU.

You get the content that is promised, so it is basically a legitimate service. However, if you request a refund in accordance with the applicable law in the EU, the company turns a deaf ear and promises the refund but does not carry it out.

It gives the impression that the company appears to be deliberately acting fraudulently. I strongly advise against taking out a subscription here.

I was producing Hardstyle/Hardcore until september 2023 where I decided to produce Hard Techno. I wanted to understand the strucutre of an HT track and the needs of DJ's in that genre, how they mix, ...

By choosing Seedj, I discovered and learned so much that I was expecting ! I even now want to mix myself and do a full career as a DJ/Producer. There is a lot of passion and knownledges transimitted by some teachers like Ortensio.

The contests are a very nice addition with cool opportunities !
