SeekTeachers does not care to communicate at all! Never respond to emails and phone calls. This is by far the worst teacher recruitment agency by far!

I spoke to Whinney at first after applying for a job in a British school in Central Dubai, she told me this job wouldn’t be best suited to me and explained a school in RAK would be better. She then put me in touch with Ash who made this job sound like an amazing opportunity. However, everything I was told/ promised was a complete lie…
- was an Arabic school (Staff and Pupils did not speak English even though I asked for a British school)
- Ash told me lots of Scottish, English, Americans and Irish work in the school, I did not meet any English as a first language staff.
- accommodation was not safe (security coming into my apartment during the night)
- faulty lights and appliances in accommodation
- Ash sent pictures of accommodation which did not match where I lived
- Security would follow me everywhere - Ash told me this was normal and just a cultural difference
- Ash said there would be a welcome package of food and water in apartment for me arriving to get me started - there was nothing and no shops near by and security/the school would not help me to get a taxi to a shop so ended up 2 days without food
- no one shows their face during interviews and zoom meetings
The company needs to be honest to their customer as when I explained all the issues to management and Ash (my recruiter) I got called a liar and that none of this has happened before however, after visiting other reviews about Emirates National School RAK, other staff have compared the accommodation to a “Prison”.

I spoke to Winnie a while back who was condescending to say the least. Bunch of unqualified people who tell teachers that application is on hold for stupid reasons. Don't use them, and yes Winnie I managed to secure my job without your patronising advise!

FAKE JOB LISTINGS

Ash is an arrogant person who conducts Zoom calls without showing his face, behaves rudely, and then informs you that you won't qualify for the full package, pushing you towards a much less favorable option.

I have only ever heard back from them once and then nothing. I'm a Canadian teacher with 20 years of teaching experience in 6 different subjects which should be easy to place. At the moment they have over 1100 jobs posted to their platform but if you look at other platforms, I don't see where these jobs are. I really don't think many of them exist.

Back in 2012 to 2014 and beyond, Winny Lee was keen on me. Easy to talk to during interviews and then the constant emails and messages. I eventually had to block her in 2021 due to the love bombing. Winner Lee you're alright by me, or maybe I miss the attention. I salute you Winney Lee!

I called Seek Teachers to inquire about international vacancies, hoping for some assistance and guidance. Unfortunately, my experience with Winne Lee was far from satisfactory. Rather than being helpful, I was met with a negative attitude. Winne Lee informed me that I was too late and would not be able to secure a job abroad, instead of offering constructive advice or solutions.
Throughout our brief conversation, it was clear that Winne Lee was more interested in interrupting with negative comments rather than listening to understand my concerns and needs. This lack of customer service skills and professionalism was highly disappointing.
As a result, I have decided to restore my search with TES International and will seek out other recruiters who demonstrate a more professional and supportive attitude. I would not recommend Winne Lee to anyone seeking international job placement assistance or for that matter Seek Teachers.

I called this morning and experienced the rudest conversation from Winney. I have over 20 years experience and she spoke to me like I was an idiot constantly interrupting and getting the wrong end of the stick. Winney is the only consultant I have met that looks for problems as opposed to solutions. There is zero charm and she was determined to annihiliate me and my confidence in getting any work whatsoever.

Winney is an excellent recruiter and a pleasure to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview process from the school which I received an offer from.

I received an offer with a quick turnaround, but due to personal circumstances, had to revise my salary expectations, and I’m currently looking for another position through SeekTeachers.

Ash is an Absolute SUPERSTAR!

Ash is an absolute superstar! I can honestly attest that, without Ash, I wouldn't be in the position I am today. He guided and supported me throughout the entire process, demonstrating a genuine passion for assisting others. I am incredibly grateful for his help.

Wow!! What an amazing experience working with Ash Waleed! I was referred by a friend, she told me that Ash would make sure I get sorted with an opportunity in no time. And thats just what he did.

Straight from the start he listened to me, explaining my situation and what we needed. He secured me an interview with a top school, made sure I was ready for my interview and after I got the job he assisted with all the documentation, which is normally a nightmare.

Experience:
I truly cannot complain about my experience. Although it did find a while to locate a school for me, that did not have to do with SeekTeacher and more or less to do with my lack of qualifications & experience in my field.

Exceptional:
Once I was a qualified professional my recruiter (Ash Waheed) was able to secure an interview at a highly reputable and dignified school. After only being there for two months, I have already obtained a leadership role because the school recognized my talent and ability to lead.

Effective Feedback:
Although, there were challenges I do feel that my placement was individualized and specific to my interests and needs. Therefore, my feedback is for SeekTeachers to continue operating the way they do! 😌

I will always refer people to SeekTeachers and use them in the future if I ever feel the need to change institutions. My relationship with SeekTeachers feels everlasting and lifelong.
