What sort of operation is this?

What sort of operation is this?
We ordered a light switch, were charged ‘standard rate’ carriage - took 8 days. (Lighting direct took 2) There is no contact phone number and we had no tracking info. When it arrived, the advice note showed it had been sourced from another company, with our delivery address.
Websites relentlessly 5star reviews are ‘surprising’.
Definitely not using again.

No customer contact

This company makes it very difficult to communicate with them. No phone number, a chat service in which no one comes on line and no response to emails. The products were ok but no suitable for my house and there is no process for returns other than to contact them and no response when you do contact them

Poor customer service and Product Quality

I have placed an order with some light switches, and upon enquiring about the expected delivery date, I was informed that the items would be delivered on 25 July, and I was provided with a tracking number for APC Choice. I checked the tracking status on 24 July, which also confirmed that the items were scheduled for 25 July delivery. Based on this, I arranged and booked a technician to install the switches at my apartment that day.

However, despite waiting for most of the day on Friday, no delivery was made. The technician arrived as scheduled, but due to the absence of the items. When I checked the tracking again, it stated that the delivery had been rescheduled for Monday, without any prior notice or communication from SE Home or APC Choice.I had no choice but to send him away.

This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Not only did I waste time waiting for a delivery that never arrived, but I also incurred unnecessary costs for the technician’s visit. Moreover, the lack of timely updates — whether by email or SMS — about the change in the delivery schedule is unacceptable.

When I receive the package, I found that one item is missing! I need to contact them again to made another delivery.

After arranging the technician to come and install the all light switches, I found that one of the switches has already broken!! (3 days after installation, and switching for less than 20 times...)
I have to contact them again and they just sent me a swtich without the plate and expect me to fix it myself.

The whole experience was awful and the product is expensive with poor quality!

Good customer service

I recently brought a couple of light switches from SE Home through B&Q. I accidentally ordered double switches when I only needed single switches. I was able to contact SE Home before my order had been dispatched & change the order from double switches to single switches. They were quick to respond and rectified my mistake with no questions whatsoever. I thought it was worth a review as they could’ve just sent out the order I put through & I would’ve had to return and wait for a refund & pay for shipping for the right switches again but SE Home went out of their way to fix my mistake!

Awful customer service

Product looked nothing like the website, had to chase to get a refund, and they would not refund one of the sockets I purchased because I had opened it (to look at it). Don't operate an online website if you won't let consumers look at the products when they arrive. The product was unused, and could have been resealed. They then asked me to pay more postage to have the returned item sent back to me, which I was obviously not willing to do, so I ended up paying for a product which they have kept.
Do not recommend this company whatsoever, bad quality and even worse customer service.
