Super faster delivery and these are the best knives I've ever bought......15 out of 10

Bought it as a gift. Upon first examination The knife itself did not look as pictured. As a gift giver this gave me EXTREME panic. Upon giving the gift and closer inspection the knife is actually exquisite.

Damascus is etched on, steel is low quality, and I can find the exact same knife without the branding on chinese websites for $25, meaning it's being made for about that much and just gets upcharged for the branding. HORRIFIC, PREDATORY company. Tried for days to keep me from refunding my knife despite their "Money Back Guarantee" policy because I OPENED THE BOX. After threatening a challenge and multiple days of emails, I returned it, got 80% back, and had to pay for shipping. These guys suck and they know it.

The delivery was exactly as described, on time. I had a second order and was delivered ahead of time! These knives are SHARP. I used them on a dozen limes, like the old hot knife and butter. I also ordered the bamboo magnetic storage unit.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! SCAM ALERT!!!!! READ ALLLLLL REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! NOT BBB ACCREDITED!!!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!
I bought these knives for my husband but he was gifted another set by another family member. No reason to keep both so I inquired about a return and refund. I was informed of a 20% RESTOCKING FEE as well I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR RETUNE SHIPPING and ANY OTHER FEES accrued in the return process. After looking into the return policy and other reviews further I found multiple other dissatisfied customers who complained about POOR AND EXTREMELY SLOW CUSTOMER SERVICE as well as POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS. I paid $366 for my product and am realizing this is money down the drain! I have no hope for the return refund process based off of the threatening email I received from the support team who are trying to bribe me to keep the product and they will send me $35 to keep the product. SCAM SCAM SCAM COMPANY!!!!!

Firstly we received the knives thinking they were real Damascus steel and that was a lie. They are laser engraved to look like Damascus steel. They claim to be hand forged and clearly are not. One if the knifes broke cutting a piece off cheese and they will not replace it claiming it was not a defective product. When we buy new knives we will go with a higher quality product. They dull extremely quickly and need constant sharpening after every use. These low quality knives are not what is advertised.

Title: Premium price, disappointing durability and warranty response
Review:
I purchased the complete Seido knife set several years ago with the expectation of long-term durability consistent with the premium price and “lifetime” branding. I take exceptional care of my knives — they are hand washed only, never placed in the dishwasher, immediately dried, and stored properly. These knives are used daily and treated as valuable tools.
Despite this level of care, multiple wood handles have developed visible cracking. Even more concerning, one knife blade broke after being dropped, which is not something I would expect from a knife marketed as high-quality or professional grade.
I contacted Seido support, provided clear photos, and explained my care routine in detail. While communication was polite, I was ultimately told that cracking handles and blade failure after 3–4 years are considered normal wear and are not covered under their limited lifetime guarantee.
That response is extremely disappointing given the cost of these knives. At this price point, I expected durability measured in decades, not a few years, especially when the knives are properly cared for and used as intended.
The blades performed well when new, but longevity and warranty support do not match the premium branding. Buyers should be aware that once issues arise, meaningful support may not be available.
A knife that breaks and cracks after careful daily use is not a lifetime knife — no matter how pretty it is.

Great Price plenty of promotions to make the value even better. Quality product delivered so I will continue to buy! AND FREE SHIPPING! Delivery time frame was very good as well. Great all around experience is why went back for a second purchase.

This knife was represented as being a Japanese knife, but it is made in China.
Tora Tsuki Cleaver. There’s nowhere on the website itself that it tells you that it’s made in China and you don’t find this out until you get it delivered. Now I will have to pay the shipping to return it.

Amazing knives! Fast, friendly and reliable. Huge shout out to Tino and Charlene who made our restaurant over the top with these new knives. When guest say “wow idk if it’s the steak or the knife but it cuts like butter” only makes our guest experience better. You need these knives wether for a your home or your business. We love our purchase and look forward to many many more purchases! Amazing products!

I have the Kiritsuke knife in sky blue and it is so sharp! It's so light and the handle is very pretty too!

Received a $350 set of knives for my birthday and decided they weren't for me. They were not sharp out of the box as expected and I was not 100% satisfied with the quality. I contacted them within 10 days of exceeding the 30 day return window (only exceeded due to receiving them as a gift) and they refused to allow me to return them despite being unused and still in their original packaging and being a gift. I asked for a supervisor to review my request and again was denied. They kept sending me advice on how to sharpen them. If you spend that much on a new set of knives, I don't expect to spend hours sharpening them when I receive them. Not to mention I noticed bad reviews about the knives rusting and not lasting long. If you are purchasing for a gift, make sure not to plan too far in advance or you'll be stuck!

The lifetime warranty does not cover their cheap Chinese garbage knifes and they are beyond unhelpful

Perfect blades: not too small, but not too big and heavy. They handle chopping and batoning well, while still capable of detailed work including food prep. I honestly don't think a better all-around set of knives could be made".

It was simple to choose from, I got my order within two days, and it did not disappoint at all. I had questions and they were answered very quickly. Love seido knives!

Seido Knives are not made in Japan as their website implies. They are scammers. Return policy very difficult. Need to go to the fine print on second link re: returns. There is a restocking fee and shipping fee for returns. Plus the exact outer box (not inner gift box) is required. If they find the smallest little ding in even the outee shipping box, forget it. They claim they’ll discard the knife. Which we all know, isn’t true. They’ll resell it or minimally piece it out. Forget calling the 800 number as you won’t get a call back after leaving a message. Karma to this scammy company. But good job to their marketing and fake good reviews.
