I made an order, I was emailed to say there was a delay due to a backlog of orders. Then a few weeks later another email saying the same but not personal to me and to say where my order was. After that I tried to contact them but heard nothing. Tried to cancel. Still nothing. So I contacted my bank to cancel the transaction Selfawear contacted me a week after that. Terrible terrible service. It was 6 weeks from me ordering to trying to cancel and now a further month to get a refund via my bank thankfully. Do not plan to shop with them again.
Ridiculously long wait times for delivery and enquiry reply times extremely slow and inadequate.
Ordered 23 November and while it was received the week of Christmas, the slow reply times meant that it was received too late for me to gift. I gave plenty of notice first contacting them on 4th Dec, again on the 10th Dec and it wasn’t until 15th Dec that I received my first reply.
Once the shirt was finally received it was tiny for a large.
On the upside a full refund was received….eventually- took almost 2 months. I won’t be ordering from this company again which is disappointing as keen to support an Australian business.

When I complained, the response was ‘our website states there can be 5cm difference’ however I could only see it said “allow a 1-2cm difference”. 5cm longer in length takes it up a whole size larger and it looks terrible. Inconsistent product and poor customer service. What a shame.

Disappointing and Unacceptable Customer Service
I ordered three T-shirts and received two incorrect items. While delivery was slower than expected, I was willing to be understanding given the Christmas period. However, the handling of this issue since then has been completely unacceptable.
I emailed customer service on 19th January with my order confirmation and clear photographic evidence of the incorrect items. I received an automated confirmation acknowledging receipt of my email, yet I did not receive any substantive response for over two weeks. After chasing the matter, I was told that my original email had not been received — despite the autoresponse clearly confirming otherwise.
It has now been three emails in total, and I am still without a resolution. The T-shirts were intended as birthday gifts, and this issue could have been resolved quickly and easily with basic communication.
The ongoing lack of response demonstrates a serious failure in customer service and does not reflect the customer-focused values the company claims to uphold.

Bought 3 t shirts from selfawear. The first one was too big but happily exchanged by the company thus I bought more. They are beautifully made and well fitting. They are also reasonably priced so will shop with them again.

The delay and lack of response initially was frustrating. after reading the update and understanding how busy they were, I don’t believe customers were intentionally ignored. Hopefully lessons are taken from this peak period as the brand itself seems genuine

My extreme dissatisfaction is with the abysmal level of service they “provide”. Despite receiving numerous automated acknowledgments, there has been a complete lack of actual human response to my concerns.
Most frustratingly, I was previously assured via email on 3 February 2026, that my order would be corrected before being processed. Clearly it was not done, as today received an entirely incorrect shipment - that’s after waiting almost 8 weeks.
They rely on slow email-only support system with no phone contact available.
So I am now processing the return of the incorrect sized items and I am being charged a $10 process fee.
They should consider the mental health issues they cause their customers with their lack of response which equals lack of care.

I was very frustrated at first and honestly worried after seeing the delays.My order was dispatched late and won’t arrive in time for Christmas, which was disappointing. That said, once communication came through, I could see this wasn’t a scam and just a business that got completely swamped. I decided not to cancel as the items were for myself, and I’m okay waiting now that I understand what happened

You could tell from the reviews that they were completely pumped during December. my order was delayed and communication wasn’t ideal, but the product itself is great quality.
I still prefer supporting a small business that had a rough month over a big faceless brand

Ordered Christmas t-shirst for four members of my family late November-2025 from the Gold Coast based business. I live in Brisbane and the delivery time was quoted at Production Time: 3-7 business days and
Shipping Time: 4-10 days. My shirts arrive the week of Australia Day (26th january). Three of the four were not the size listed on the site and Selfaware are not accepting them as returns.
