After writing my book from the passion of my heart, I had NO idea how to take my word document and translate this into an actual book. I highly recommend selfpublishing.com if you are thinking of writing a book. Reading the book "Published." was extremely helpful but the biggest change for me was when I became a member (my first year I signed up for Be a Bestseller, my second year I signed up for AAA)! All of their services and resources have helped me through this author journey. I began to write my book in Oct 2022 and published it by July 2024! (Note: The book is over 400 pages - title: "Step Up Your School Leadership Game.")

Chandler Bolt and SelfPublishing.com are not to be trusted. They took my money and disappeared, leaving me with an incomplete manuscript and no recourse.

I have self-published two books in the past and went nowhere because I had no idea what needed to be done to get them out there, but with my third book, I'm so glad that I found SPS. They are amazing at guiding you through everything associated with self-publishing and getting your book out there. I highly recommend SPS to anyone who wants to self-publish. There is no place like SPS.

Much of my interaction with Selfpublishing.com has been good. The training and the coaches are wonderful. However, I did have some issues of communication with the production team and have had no real response to my emails that show they have even received them. I would love to recommend them, but I am wary to do so now.

Edit: the production team response and communication emails were responded to eventually, but it felt forced and like communication from me to the designer was never clear with having a go between person. The emails that were not responded to were my emails to give feedback about my experience. For those I have no idea if they were receives, ignored, implemented, or what. A simple “we have received your feedback and will look into it” or something along those lines would let me know it went through to someone. Selfpublishing.com has always claimed to want and love feedback, and usually has good employees, but I currently feel like I was at the receiving end of poor employee or training choices during a growth spurt that has left a lot of loose ends hanging.
