An oasis of beauty, in the Devon countryside close to transport networks.

Selgars Mill is a beautiful venue, a well run establishment perfect for team building and wellness retreats and a hugely inspiring project. Anton & Mo are wonderful hosts and offer really great attention to detail and customer care. I would recommend Selgars to anyone considering it as a venue for their event.

I stayed at Selgars as part of a Regenerative Leadership Gathering in August 2024. The owners have invested a lot of love and care into the place and it is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience. I particularly enjoyed the creative use of the outdoor space, offering different spaces to play, gather and explore in nature.

I attended a gathering from the Regenerators community in August 2024 and Selgars gave us what we needed to make the event so magical - it wouldn’t have been possible without the nature and the warmth and love that Anton, Morgane, and Zuko inject into the place everyday.

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere you can immerse yourself in the nature and connect to the natures wisdom..

I was at Selgars for a regenerative leadership gathering and loved the nature and the details of the place. You could feel the love that the owners put into it and the care, using what was already there and giving it a new life.

Super thrilled to come back to Selgars Mill for the third time this year. An oasis of peace and tranquility curated by some of the loveliest staff members I encountered.
Great outdoor facilities as indoor as well. The barn is such a beautiful space that can be used from private meetings and gatherings to shop stalls and even a mini bar fully equipped with fridges and washing facilities.
I would recommend Selgars for any type of retreat or wedding. The team of chefs make the difference as well tailoring their menus to any occasion.

Selgar’s is the place to relax, be creative, connect and feel at home! We came to the Annual Enchanted gathering and left inspired for action and driven to create change! Great experience with great people in a great place!

We went for a retreat/small gathering this summer and Selgars and the hosts were truly amazing! It’s a wonderful place to get together, to reconnect with nature and yourself, to do activities and create art.

This is a truly beautiful place, but the management leaves a lot to be desired, they seemed to take delight in making everything as difficult as possible (also see Jane’s review).

Without doubt the kitchens are the most poorly equipped of any self catering accommodation I have experienced, we seemed be sharing 2 saucepans between the 3 kitchens (catering for 40
people), hardly any cutlery or plates, broken appliances and no instructions for those that did work.

Despite this we did manage to have a good time, but with a bit more sympathetic management it could have been a much less stressful experience.

Invited to a wedding, guy who rented it out kept moving goalposts, would not allow any music after 10pm. Was rude and constantly coming round checking people were not disrespecting the place but in an unhealthy way. Total kill joy wrecked our friends day.
