Do not use this company...
Do not use this company... They only give you the options of new, working or broken. So a working phone with a worn back is classed as broken to them. They advertise free return. This is not the case, £15 to return the phone. Initial offer of £100+, £25 updated offer. A bit of a con when they've now decided to charge for a return.
My advice is take your old one to pawn shop. At least you can see their faces when they rob you.

The order was placed for a working/good condition device, whereas the phone received had a broken rear panel. As a resale business, device values are determined based on the condition declared at the time of the order and the actual condition upon inspection. Unfortunately, it is not economically possible for us to honour the quoted price for a good condition device when the handset is received in broken condition.
Devices purchased by us are prepared for resale, which means necessary repairs must be carried out using suitable replacement parts where required. In the case of the OnePlus 10 Pro, genuine service pack rear replacements are expensive, which significantly affects the value of the device.
For further clarity, our broken-condition buying price for this particular model is up to £5. However, after taking into account the overall condition, specifications, and market demand at the time the handset was received, an improved revised offer of £25 was provided.
Regarding return charges (£9.80 for tracked 48/ £14.80 for special delivery), these are outlined within our terms and conditions. Return costs apply where a device is received in a materially different condition from what was originally declared.
We appreciate all feedback and always aim to offer fair and transparent valuations.

I would not recommend using this company.
I sent in my Apple Watch, which had been very well looked after and always had a screen protector on it. I then received an email saying the watch had been revalued due to “scratches” and missing straps, reducing the offer from £80 to just £50.
While I understand the straps were missing, I know for a fact there were no scratches on the watch, so knocking £30 off the value feels completely unjustified.
Unfortunately, I felt forced to accept the lower offer because I’m currently battling cancer and simply don’t have the energy to fight or contest it. To make matters worse, they charge almost £10 to have the item returned to you if you refuse the revised offer.
Overall, I feel completely robbed and very disappointed with the experience.

We would, however, like to clarify a few points for transparency. The revised offer reflected both the cosmetic condition of the watch and the absence of the mandatory accessories. The missing straps and their impact on the valuation were clearly mentioned in multiple emails sent during the process so there would be no surprises or hidden deductions.
With regard to the scratches, when the watch was received there was no screen protector attached, and the marks identified during inspection were visible upon testing. As part of our standard process, any condition differences are reflected in the revised offer provided.
We would also like to mention that the revised offer was sent at approximately 2:30 PM and accepted shortly after around 3:00 PM. At no stage during the process were we informed that you were unhappy with the valuation. Had you raised your concerns with us directly, we would have been more than happy to review the matter further and provide clarification before any final decision was made.
Regarding the return fees, the circumstances under which return charges apply are outlined in our terms and conditions, so customers are aware of them before sending their devices for sale.

Blatant Dishonesty
They are blatantly dishonest. I sent them a phone in mint condition without a mark anywhere to be seen but they reduced the original offer by a third and said there were visible scratches on the screen. Naturally I rejected the offer and had to pay £9.80 to have my phone returned. On return, I looked for these alleged scratches but neither I nor members of my family can see anything other than an absolutely perfect screen. The phone is genuinely in mint and unmarked condition and visually, indistinguishable from new.

However, we would like to clarify the main reason for the revised valuation. Your order was placed for a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 256GB in Brand New condition. Devices listed under Brand New are required to be completely unused and supplied in sealed, unopened packaging with all original accessories. This criteria is clearly outlined on both our website and the comparison platform used to place the order.
After inspection, the device received did not meet the Brand New criteria and was identified as a used device. During the assessment, cosmetic imperfections were also noted on the screen. We have shared detailed explanations, supporting screenshots, and an inspection video highlighting the condition identified during testing.
The quoted price of £251 was generated based on the information provided at the time of placing the order. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to honour a Brand New valuation for a used device with visible imperfections.
With regard to the return fee, the applicable return charges and the situations in which they apply are outlined within our terms and conditions prior to customers sending their devices, so customers can make an informed decision beforehand.

A Heroic Struggle Against Four Envelopes
I would like to congratulate SellMyPhone.org on surviving the Great Delivery of Tuesday Morning. According to my DPD proof of delivery photo, which happened to show the other parcels delivered at the same time. My phone arrived at 11:07 as one of a staggering four parcels.
Apparently this overwhelming influx of mail incapacitated the entire operation for twenty four hours.
By Wednesday morning I was informed my device was in a "queue" which is a fascinating way to describe three other envelopes.
Naturally the logjam cleared the moment I complained and I was greeted with the "Good News" that my device had been processed.
The entertainment continued at 10:08 with an email promising payment followed by a 18:00 update explaining that my funds are now held hostage by "final account checks" for another twenty four hours.
One can only assume these checks involve a carrier pigeon or a very slow abacus since the actual testing of the phone was supposedly already finished.
While competent recyclers manage to process hundreds of devices and issue payments in a single afternoon SellMyPhone.org has turned the handling of four parcels into a multi day epic. I was fortunate that my device was three days old and still boxed otherwise I am sure they would have found a creative reason to regrade it as they seem to do with everyone else.
If you enjoy watching a company treat the passage of time as an abstract concept I highly recommend them. For everyone else who expects a professional service I suggest going literally anywhere else.

Payment and the final account checks referenced are standard verification procedures carried out before funds are released. These checks form part of our normal payment authorisation process and are in place to ensure security and accuracy for all transactions. Once completed, payments are processed promptly, although banking times can occasionally vary.
While we understand that processing times may sometimes feel longer, we always aim to balance speed with accurate testing, verification and secure payment handling, as the devices are purchased for resale purposes and there is a criteria to maintain before we can process the phones further.

Was very nervous about selling iPhone 16 pro max online fearful of scams on eBay and potential to be scammed by companies offering to buy. I came across this site from a selling comparison website and even after a bit of research was still apprehensive given some negative reviews. Still I felt this was the safer option and took precautions like taking photos of packed phone and imei and sent Royal Mail special delivery.
In the end I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I sent the phone Thursday 9th at a post office. It was delivered Friday 10th at 10am. I received a confirmation email before midday to say they had received and within a couple of hours another email to say it was accepted and they were paying me the full estimated value. At 17.30 they sent another email saying the payment had been approved and was waiting a final check with account dept and to expect funds within 14 hours Monday- Friday. To my surprise the funds were in my bank at 07.30 Saturday morning.
Excellent service, very quick payment and fantastic communication.
