I purchased a new car and didn't want to feel like an idiot and get ripped off by the dealer offering me around $15k less for my car than what they'd sell it for. After all, it still had a couple of years to go on the manufacturer's warranty so I started the private sale process.

Gone are the days where a trading post ad cost around $11. Now it's Gumtree, facebook and Carsales. The first two just attract pests and Carsales is normally successful but with lockdowns coming and going, the process was dragging out and it had cost me hundreds in advertising fees without a single call. Excellent, fast, flexible, good price.

They make this a very easy process. Fair value and very responsive. No messing around and funds transfer was fast and fully cleared before collection. Would have given a 5 star if the car pickup process was smooth, but the collection company were terrible communicators and didn't come when they booked. Not their fault but it would have been better if this hadn't occurred. Having said that it was sorted the next day (so can't complain too much).

Ben was fantastic in all of his dealings with the sale. He moved quickly and professionally and the inspection and money transfer was completed in a matter of days.
