I placed an order for an e-certificate…

I placed an order for an e-certificate on 10/24/20. Haven’t gotten a response from the recipient to confirm receipt of the gift. Contacted customer service 10/28/20 in an attempt to see if their records confirm recipient received e-gift. Customer service instructions online specifically caution Against Calling the 1-800 number and state inquiries about orders will get faster responses via email instead of over the phone. I left a message online for customer service on 10/28/20, and I’m Still waiting to hear from someone. I have not heard from customer service about my order, but I have gotten 2 requests to complete a survey about my experience over the past week. Needless to say, I’m not impressed to get emails about surveys and No emails or follow up about my order. It’s Not a good feeling to know one’s money (in the form of an electronic gift card) is lingering somewhere in cyberspace with no accountability and no one seeming to care.

The service that my friend received was phenomenal. She was very surprised and happy with the food she received and the voucher to order another meal. Thank you for this service. It really helps a lot to have something available to reach out to our loved ones when they are ailing and Covid prevents us from seeing them in person. I will use this service again anytime I need to send food to friends or family.

Food arrived a little later than…

Food arrived a little later than expected, but the recipient loved it. It was well packaged, and although the recipient was not home when it arrived, she said that it was still frozen when she came home. I didn't find as many selections as I saw when I ordered previously, but all worked out well.

It would have been 5 stars except my order was not shipped as ordered. Yet, it was shipped quickly ahead of time. The original shrimp and rice meal is no longer available but still showed up on the web site. They did refund the meal which was appreciated.

Food is meh and they charge you a lot…

Food is meh and they charge you a lot for shipping and it’s not a complete meal just an entree. Pretty lame. I got it as a gift and hate that my friends wasted their money.

It arrived on time and was cold - that’s the extra star.

Very late shipment

I ordered on Oct 1. Estimated ship date was between Oct 4-11. I was sending to my sister who had knee surgery, so it was a time-sensitive order. The order was never shipped, and they had to “reship” it after I contacted them about it not arriving. Now it is expected to arrive Oct 15–more than 2 weeks after my order. We’ll see if it actually arrives then.

We purchased the lobster and steak…

We purchased the lobster and steak dinner for two and sent it to our son and daughter-in-law for their anniversary. It arrived on the exact date of their anniversary very close to dinner time. Josh and Sal were thrilled when they saw live lobsters, filet mignon, chowder and crab cakes. They said the meal was “awesome”! Can’t thank Send a Meal enough for helping us make their anniversary so special in these days of COVID.
