Poor Quality and Misleading Marketing/Policy
I ordered a custom suit from Sene and paid extra for their “Free Returns, Remakes, or Exchanges” add-on.
The suit arrived with a poor fit in poor quality for a $550+ purchase. The polyester material was equivalent if not thinner and more flimsy than the <$50 golf pants I ordered from Amazon.
When I asked for a refund, I was told only store credit was available, even though the returns restriction wasn’t clearly disclosed at checkout. The “Free Returns” messaging was misleading at checkout page, and was only available behind secondary clicks in cart.
After trying to resolve it directly, Sene responded with numerous screenshots of their website pages. Definitely not a customer-centric company.
Absolutely worst eComm experience overall and I would not recommend Sene. First time in my life going out of my way to discourage potential buyers.

Still no T-Shirt
Ordered a custom t-shirt June 23 and it is now July 18th. Was supposed to be completed and shipped within 5 business days. I believe this company has problems in obtaining its materials. I will never order again from Sene.

Poor quality material, and false advertising on return policy
I wanted to like the suit but unfortunately the fit and material were sub par. The suit definitely stands out as inferior if you are around anyone else with a real suit. Additionally they had wording on there website in multiple locations saying you receive a free refund… don’t trust them. They went back on this and changed their policy. Even though that was the only reason I was willing to try their product. I tried with one of there shirts and they refitted me 3 times and never got the fit right. Do not purchase through them

Black t-shirt fits nice and certainly justifies the pricing — it’s not a typical t-shirt, and I was skeptical until I tried it on. I’m rather picky and now am ordering several!
Difficult Returns
Difficult Returns. This company has no online return process, which is really suspect for being an online company. You have to send an email and then just wait for a response (haven't gotten mine yet), and hoe it doesn't get lost in a sea of junk emails. And the shirt was weird the way it fit.

Pulled Off a Surprise Proposal Dance in This Suit Flawlessly
I wore this suit for a surprise dance number during my wedding proposal, and it delivered. I was jumping, spinning, dropping to the floor, and not once did it restrict me or feel tight. It moved with me the whole time and still looked sharp afterward. If you’ve ever thought suits were too stiff to dance in, think again. This one passed the ultimate test.

False advertising and cheap quality
They’re extremely dishonest with their selling process. After my suit arrived and the jacket and pants were awfully mismatched in sizing, I started their fix it process and it turns out they don’t actually reimburse you for local alterations as promised during the purchase. They give you “store credits”. So you have to spend more money! That’s just false advertising.
The process itself is also very slow. Took them a month to ship the suit and it would have taken another 1-2 months to have it fixed by them. All that aside, their “smart sizing” is useless, and the suit itself feels very cheap. Almost as if bought in bulk from China and just slightly adjusted.
I don’t recommend them at all. Save your time and money.

The timeline they’re claiming here is absolutely false. It’ll take about a week, at best, to arrive then per their claim 3.5 weeks, possibly longer, to fix. Then they’ll ship it with the slowest method possible as they did initially. Best case scenario it’ll take two months.
Secondly, the “store credit” was not mentioned once during the checkout process. Only deep in sub pages. At the time of purchase it’s all “we’ll reimburse for local alterations”.
Last time I checked, local tailors don’t accept imaginary store credit as payment.
Thank you for also proving my point. The suit size was good, but the pants were sized for at least 1.5 sizes smaller. Which begs the question, what tailor would make that and think yeah these match, I nailed it. Answer is bulk bought and tweaked slightly.
When I said the suit is perfect, it wasn’t referring to the cheap material. And I was being polite to your rep.
I had both the pants and the suit tailored locally so they’ll actually fit me.
You are running a cheap shady business and I hope people find these reviews before wasting money at your store.

Great clothes and even better service
beyond the clothes being great fitting and well made -the service to get it just right is impeccable and efficient. I have purchased about four pieces so far and all are great!
High Quality Product
I purchased the cumulus shirts and the final product came out as expected and feels truly personalized. I was especially impressed with the feel of the material used to make the t shirts. It was comfortable, feels high quality, and the weight of the shirt felt nicer than expected. The color did not fade after 2 months of machine wash (~once a week).
For context, if you order multiple shirts, they will only ship 1 out first so you can confirm the fit before they make the rest of your order. So if you don't confirm the fit with them, the remainder order will sit idle. (yes you paid for all of it upfront. I received 1 of my 3 orders fairly quickly and the rest took a while because I missed this detail. This was my fault for not reading the entirety of my order confirmation. But I did provide the feedback on making it more UI friendly for reminding customers to confirm the fit and they've told me this improvement is something already in the works and will roll out soon :). Overall, I really liked the product and have purchased 3 more shirts.

SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM
A couple of years ago, I was constantly getting SPAM from this outfit. When contacted directly, they denied having an account using my e-mail and denied that it was on any mailing list. Reported to the UK ICO and left a negative review here, and miraculously the SPAM stopped...
Well now they are at it again, and again deny it so again reported to the ICO and getting another bad review here, hoping that STOPS the SPAM SPAM SPAM.
Scam Alert! Return policy is designed to make it impossible to recoup and blazers are trash. So cheap!
The Blazer I purchased is complete trash. It's made of very cheap material and looks that way.
In addition to this, the return policy is a scam. Don't get trapped by this trash company. You have 14 days to return an item, but to initiate the return, you will have to go through all of the customer support communication and steps, which takes 14-days. Custom or "unique" items, as they put it on their website, are not returnable at all.
Happy Customer – Support Came Through, but Fulfillment Can Be Slow
I purchased two suits as a gift for a friend who had never worn a suit before. Upon receiving the first suit, Sene's support team was very helpful in guiding us through the adjustment process to ensure a perfect fit. The exchange process for alterations was relatively painless, though there was quite a long wait time (over 7 weeks and counting). In the meantime, the second suit arrived, and thankfully, it was a perfect fit.
Initially, I had left a very negative review because I wasn’t receiving responses to my follow-ups regarding the adjusted suit. However, it turns out there was an unexpected technical issue that prevented me from receiving their emails. A team member personally reached out from a different email account, which I was able to receive, and provided the long-awaited update.
Advice for future customers: If you don’t hear back from Sene, I recommend including a note in your follow-up email stating that you haven’t received a response and requesting that they contact you from an alternative email (not their default Support email). This may help if you experience the same issue I did.
Overall, while the fulfillment timeline can be on the slower side, Sene did come through, and I appreciate their effort to ensure a great fit for my friend. He’s excited to receive his final adjusted suit!
Doesn't work
I really like the fabric and wish it would have worked out, but they're marketing a custom suit, but are unable to take actual measurements that would cause the suit to fit properly. I sent my suit back once and it took 3 weeks then when I got the re-make back it still didn't fit properly. This means I'd have to send it in again and wait another 3 weeks for my suit. There was way too much fabric in the pant legs, suit jacket arms etc. I love the fabric and wish you could have tailored it to my satisfaction since I would have wanted to keep the suit. Customer service is slow to respond, you can't call anyone and meanwhile I paid for a suite months ago and still can't use it. Waste of time.
I ordered a three pack of cumulus crew…
I ordered a three pack of cumulus crew shirts on 11/7/24. I'm still waiting... One of the crazier retail experiences i've ever had.
I got one shirt in early December. No updates on the order at all on the website, no emails about shipping, nothing. I sent an email to customer service, and they said the site is not working so updates aren't sent. So i had no way to provide feedback on the fit through an online tool, just a rep asking if the others could go to production. I said yes because the fit was fine, and I didn't know what to say in an email to a CS rep who's covering for a malfunctioning website.
I get the second shirt a few weeks later (late December), no shipping or delivery emails, nothing. So I email again asking about the third shirt, again I emailed, no one reached out. It turns out that material was now out of stock, could I pick another color (no mention of what was actually available). OK so I picked a different color.
Three weeks later I email to ask status because of course no status emails or anything, radio silence. It tuns out the new color is also out of stock!!! But good news, the original is supposedly back in stock and "going to production". It's 1/21 today and i'm still waiting on my order, i'm not sure it will ever get here. Sene offered me a $20 gift card for a $200+ order that has completely gone off the rails - felt like a token response...
TLDR - do not expect your order any time soon, if at all, and do not expect much in terms of communication or recompense. They are nice quality if you ever manage to get them. It looks like they won't post this review to their site either, which isn't a great look.

Clothes sold the way nobody wants to buy them
There is no way Sene will stay in business with this business model. It’s the absolute worst and not sustainable. They make decent clothes and then sell them how people don’t want to buy. I ordered a suit and 2 camp shirts. I’m 4+ months in and have 1 camp shirt now that finally fits and the other has been “in production” forever. The initial fit on the suit was so bad and I was having such a bad experience with a simple shirt remake I just returned it. Customer support seems overwhelmed and is slow to respond and resolve issues. Worst consumer shopping experience ever. By a mile. Can’t say enough bad things. I’d give them zero stars if I could. Just so bad.
