Senior Match doesn’t deserve a one star, but there were no options lower than this. TOTAL waste of time and money. Their website is awful. Their support is worse. After spending a lot of money, there were no contacts. I suspect that they add scams to make it look like a reasonable site, but nobody answers. Donate your money to a charity rather than Senior Match. WORTHLESS.

I have been on a few dating apps and decided to try Senior Match, so I could meet people my age (over 50). I did a three month membership to start. Very disappointing. I became a member just so I could continue texting with someone, and as soon as I signed up, that person disappeared from my chat list! 'This member is currently unavailable' is the message I got. So, in addition to the scammers and bots, you have the company itself jerking you around. On a positive note, I did have one conversation but I wasn't interested in continuing it. But either way - real life or a dating app - finding someone is never easy.

Senior match is a questionable site . . . beware.
I remember hearing about Senior Match quite a few years ago; it was positively reviewed then as I recall. So last month I signed on, put together a whole profile with photos, answers to questions, essays, the match game, etc.
Seemed like the site was organized reasonably well. Browsed thru some profiles of women meeting my match criteria. A few possibles, but not many I had much in common with. Two days later I get a response, then two days later another response.
Decided to start with just one month's subscription just to see what the service really offers and maybe reply to the likes. When I typed in my credit card information, my card was immediately rejected and I got a "Your account has been frozen" message via email on that card. Sure enough, signing into my card account, the account had been frozen for suspicious activity just by my trying to use it to pay Senior Match.
At that point I started doing research on the web (which I should have done to begin with). A LOOOOOOT of dissatisfaction with the site expressed, with many users saying they had been approached by scammers multiple times and many others saying they didn't make contact with anyone who would've been a match for them. SM really looks pretty sketchy when viewed from this perspective.
That, together with the credit card freeze makes me regret having given them so much of my information just based on my memory of a review written, maybe, 15 years ago. I asked to have my account deleted immediately, and they replied (via bot) that if I ever wanted to open it again to just sign right back in with my user id and password. Sounds like they didn't really close or delete anything.
I do not recommend. Scammy vibe.

The poorest quality and least useful site ever
I had to verify my profile photo, fill out my profile, post numerous quality photos, and soon, with no real value to the free trial, I had to upgrade to premium for 1 month at $30. I was immediately deluged with winks and views that had unverified profile photos, no other photos, and little to no profile information. The search criteria filters are in several places, and was not available for days, but no worries, filters are not followed for the first week of premium membership and try to add verified photos, where is that filter!? And hey, over 50% of the members are illegitimate catfishers
