Great device
Aside from a hiccup in delivery (delayed a few days USPS fault not theirs) everything was super simple. Mom finally got the unit, plugged it in and tested-She is very happy and feels more comfortable having this device at home. Customer service people were very friendly and helpful through the process.

Peace of mind
We subscribed to this system for my mother-in-law. It was very easy to set up and easy for her to understand. We were advised against the automatic fall detection due to the possibility of false alarms. That was a little disappointing. But the service provides us some comfort knowing that she can get help with the push of a button.

Unable to get updates from EMS
I was not impressed that the inability of the Senior Safety Medical Alerts representative to let me know if they took my grandmother to the hospital or not.

Hi Kristin,
Thank you for your feedback. Our dispatchers will provide all of the available information they have to the emergency contacts at the time of a dispatch. It appears the local first responders who arrived to assist your grandmother (when asked by our dispatcher) if she was transported to the hospital, replied , "We are not allowed to give out that information. We did have a call put in and we did respond there, but that is all we are allowed to say."
Typically 911 dispatch will provide us with that information, however it is under their discretion and or policy.
I hope this information helps and I am happy to know that your grandmother received help in a timely manner.
