Heads up to other lash artists: SenseLashes’ system showed my first order as “unpaid,” so I placed a second order. I received two identical orders and provided proof (emails/screenshots) asking for a full refund. They refused and offered only $20.
This mistake is entirely on their system. I’m sharing my experience so others can avoid wasting money and time. Professional suppliers should be accountable.
Unfortunately, after having a glowing recommendation to buy the UV/LED lamp from this company from someone I trust, I have had a negative experience from Sense Lashes.
I value having the safest light curing lash system in my studio, and when I found out that the Amps would be too high to be labeled as exempt on the IEC 62471 test and was most likely either risk group 1 or risk group 2, I immediately contacted them to cancel the order.
Their cancelation policy states that you can cancel the order before shipping. If not, it would have to be returned and then refunded. At the time I contacted them to cancel the order, the lamp was on back order a label had been created.
They responded back to me that the product had already shipped. I contacted the carrier and they said they had not recieved the package yet. Sense lashes tried to offer to give me $20 store credit and then when I refused that because my order had not shipped yet, they offered a $60 refund. I refused.
I sent them screenshots of my tracking information and told them I had confirmed that the order had not shipped yet. 4 days after my cancelation request, they dropped off the order so it is now on the way. A product i do not want. Now I will have to wait to get a refund until after I refuse and return the package and dispute it with my bank.
