I have learned allot about my health and I have been battling with finding a diagnosis for over 30 years. I now have some answers and excited to review my report with my doctors.

For the money one gets a very extensive report well worth it. It is easy to read and understand. Any questions will be answered by AI in a great detailed way that is again easy to understand for a non-professional. All the additional reports and add-ons are great and helps the average person to be prepared for what is coming. One can adjust the lifestyle to prevent some of the inherited diseases. Some of the reports gave me an Aha moment that explained why I have a certain problem. I bought into this because I know I have a specific inherited mutation and wanted to know more about it and see if there are any other things I might want to have an eye on. The known mutation was an accidental find. But now I can react to coming problems a lot better and request the right tests. It is quiet interesting to read through all the reports. I hope it will help my doctors too, to test more targeted and understand some of my issues.

The thoroughness of the d n a study was amazing. I appreciated that there were forms of the different studies. Then I could take to my cardiologist, my family doctor and the other specialists that I see.

Sequencing reached out to me, after complaining about the exit scam of a competitor who I’d spent exorbitant amounts on money and received no product from. The representative was kind, understanding if I was put off from Whole Genome Sequencing(WGS) as a whole, and politely offered a very generous discount on getting sequenced with Sequencing. I thought on it a day or two, messaged back, and was quickly told about the upcoming DNA Day offer I could take a part in. I obliged. The representative was so helpful and empathetic of my experience prior, that they threw in a few extras as well. I can’t not believe I’d not heard of them prior to going with the other company. I’d have gone with Sequencing without a second thought if able to do it all over again. Very polite, responsive, and caring customer service all around with Sequencing, not to mention unbeatable shipping and turnaround times compared to competitors. Results for WGS in less than 5 weeks from order time in unheard of, as am over 5+ months with the competitor and still no results or update. This is hands down the best service you can get!

Sequencing is the best site for having your genome sequenced and having tools to be able to explore the results. I used their sequencing kit and results came back in 5 weeks and 2 days. The results were delivered in the form of reports that broke down the results in different ways. There is so much information provided. When i had a question, i sent an email to their customer service. So surprised when I received a reply in about an hour and was able to get on a call where the nice service rep walked me through questions i had about my reports. The results confirmed a mutation that I was told a dna test my doctor had ordered a couple years ago that i have in my ldlr gene that causes my fh and also am learning many other things each month when the results are brought up to date with all the new studies including a mthfr mutation i didn’t know about. I think this site is very cutting edge yet i was able to use it so that says a lot!

BEWARE! I did the test looking specifically for BRCA results (without their knowledge as to why I did genetic testing). My test came back POSITIVE x2. Given my strong family history of breast cancer, I was referred to specialists. However, the week before my first appointment, my BRCA results disappeared from their website. Gone. Took days to reach a human, and even then I received just a generic cut-and-paste email that didn't make any sense to me. Long story short, they had some sort of error and failed to notify me (and presumably others) of the error. My repeat testing ELSEWHERE indicated that I have BRCA variants with uncertain significance and no known pathological variants [received results 4/10/25]. I wasted plenty of money thanks to their inaccurate testing and poor customer service.

UPDATE: The point is that you gave inaccurate information then made no attempt to contact me to inform me that the information was inaccurate. I had to discover that myself and reach out to you. I should have received that information from you, and I dealt with your AI responses before reaching out to you on that Saturday. You were NOT the ones forthcoming with your mistake. And you both had a major mistake and failed to notify me about it. I maintain that the people using your service need to be aware that the data released to a person needs to be verified of its accuracy.

UPDATE #2: I have accepted their offer to cancel my account and give me a full refund.

Sequencing.com contacted me when they received my sample and kept me informed about how my sample was being procesed and when it would be completed. I received my reports and because I have had medical issues all my life the genes reported for me had symtoms which matched alot of my own symptoms. The report to Medical Professionals has encourage my specalist to refer me for genetic councelling. This could be a life saver.

Sequencing.com is the best! $400 to sequence my entire genome + an easy and extensive searchable user interface?! Cannot recommend highly enough, am evangelical about this

I bought the kit while it was on sale to further Investigate some concerns I have. Turns out that my symptoms were not all in my head and now I can follow up with more information. Just remember that if something is found not to panic, talk to your doctor about results and how they may be affecting you. I will need referrals to confirm the condition and who knows it might be ruled out for another. I also have some reasons to motivate me to change my diet and lifestyle!

We have done Sequencing.com tests on 2 of our family members so far. And have had great experiences with them. We had a snafu or 2 with billing and updates but Sequencing.com's customer support was amazing. I recommend signing up for the 1yr update plan.
There will always be times when an email is lost or overlooked in life but they've been really good about being fair and willing to work to resolve issues. I don't want anything for free but fairness and understanding goes a long way.
Unfortunately, I bought 2 DNA kits from another company and have yet to hear anything back from them after 14 mo & paying $5**, so we have had other bad experiences with other companies to be able to compare. I recommend Sequencing.com

I was able to retrieve and examine my genome data, generate reports geared to the appropriate specialties where genetics concerns exist and begin a journey to understanding why I feel the way I do. This service has been invaluable to my own peace of mind. It will continue to require a great deal of independent research (maintaining the membership was too expensive for me) and I found some of the reports contained conflicting interpretation of my data but it confirmed by predisposition for autoimmune disease and enlightened areas I was unaware needed attention. That being said it is worth noting that the bigger battle for me has been getting my medical team to acknowledge my results. After being told by my gp and my rheumatolgist that "maybe we don't get answers and that we should just continue treating my symptoms", I withdrew from both rosters and am now without a doctor. Sadly, in Canada that's a common thing. Be prepared to continue to being your own advocate once armed with this newly gained information. One can only give the highest kudos to sequencing.com customer support! From emails to social media to reddit, always quick, inormative and patient with those of us that are not so patient. Thank you to them all for being a big part of my ongoing medical journey.

I been with sequencing.com for almost 3 years and I’d like to tell you about my experience.
I initially purchased a DNA kit to research relatives for my family tree. During this time, I was struggling with rheumatoid arthritis, lymphedema, and heart failure. I quickly realized that sequencing.com could be a Healthcare resource for myself and my healthcare providers. The results that I’ve had, along with the knowledge gained, from sequencing.com have been extremely helpful.
Through the information Provided by this app and along with my healthcare providers assistance I have been able become more aware of which medications will provide the best treatment for me. For example, I was taking a common anti-inflammatory drug, not realizing it was not ideal for me. As my healthcare provider and I looked at my sequencing.com resultsin the medication area, specific just to me, we realized that that anti-inflammatory drug was not the best choice for me. A change was made to a different medication and I have to say that I have noticed positive results.
The knowledge provided by sequencing.com and examined carefully has been so very to me.
Some might say that the initial cost of sequencing.com is much higher than other DNA services out there. However, I think it’s important to realize that many of the other DNA services do not offer such a close and detailed look at you specifically.
Certainly, you can use it for genealogy purposes, I have done so myself but my focus using sequencing.com has really changed. I feel so much more knowledgeable, along with my healthcare providers assistance about my health.
Again, all I can say is I truly believe sequencing.com is worth the money. It’s a great company, that provides an amazing service. They have been very helpful and responsive with any questions that I have had.
