Serendip Home Care was established in 2018 and originated in Milford on Sea. At first, Serendip was created to support individuals in their home while waiting for placement to our sister company Hillyfield Rest Home. With growing needs of the community Serendip soon became its own independent service which quickly flourished. Serendip has relocated its Head Office to Ashley in New Milton to become more visible and accessible to the community in a prime location. We believe in delivering a person centered service that is filtered from management to carers and reinforced through training, supervisions and appraisals. We are caring and compassionate and we take time to understand yours and your loved ones needs. Serendip carers can help with a range of tasks, such as; help with getting up in the mornings, assistance with a shower, bath or wash, meal preparation, domestic duties, laundry services, shopping services, outings/transportation, assistance with getting clients into bed. All home care options include liaising with seeking support from health professionals such as, GP's, social workers and nurses. Serendip carers will also help clients keep in contact with family and friends. Loneliness and social isolation can have serious effects on a person’s mental health and wellbeing. Serendip home care aims to prevent loneliness through companionship care. Serendip can offer welfare check for those clients whose families live further away and are unable to visit as often as they would love to. We believe having someone to pop in daily will provide families with a “peace of mind” that is needed to reassure safety of the client.
