Elanco has recently taken over for seresto collars. My problem has never been with the Seresto collars which have kept my dogs safe, healthy and tick/flea safe now for over ten years. This new company Elanco based out of Germany has zero customer support. as there are many kock off's today I questioned one purchase of a seresto collar. Back when Bayer was in charge their customer service was A1, but with these people at elantro one can forget any customer service for seresto collars anymore. very sad, very unfortunate that the company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT OUR FAMILY MEMBERS

We have spent 200 dollars treating our cats. After three weeks. Multiple treatments with bravecto and capstar .we also washed our cats with flea shampoo. Do not buy this product. Had to postpone my placing cats in cattery because they were flea ridden .
I demanded my money back. There is no way that it works effectively as a slow release for 8 months. An absolute rort

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!.
Like so many others, I was attracted to the 'recommended by vets' claim on Seresto's ads.
With hindsight, I defy you to name ONE vet who recommends them.
But when you are desperate to help your pet,
it is so much easier to be fooled.
Sadly, my beloved cat Freddie died from a reaction to wearing the collar for only two days two weeks later. I quote Seresto...
"There is no established link between death and exposure to the active ingredients contained in Seresto".
So why is my previously very healthy, sadly missed cat no longer with us after using your collar?.
Come on, UK Government...please outlaw it NOW!!!

The small dog collars are too tiny

The small dog collars are too tiny, they wouldn't fit a small cat, let alone any small dog. I did call and speak to a customer representative who simply said buy the bigger collar which is for a weight of greater than 18 lbs. That's is not what is needed!!! You people need to make the small dog collars longer! Putting a large collar on a small dog is not logical. I have pekingese who have a larger next size. These small collars would hardly fit a cat!

I bought three collars for my pets. They claim to kill fleas within 24 hours.. They did absolutely nothing to help my animals.I spent over two hundred dollars on a terrible collars. DO NOT BUT WORTHLESS!!
When I try to contact the company through through their customer support , It states that all of their vets are busy in a meeting right now and to call back. I've been calling everyday they are liars

Bought a soresto dog collar from pets at home less than a month ago and found fleas on my dog 2 days ago . We had eliminated all fleas 4 weeks previous with medication and then used the soresto flea collar . This cost £40 and was absolute rubbish

Ok,Seresto, Spill the tea

Ok,Seresto, what's up?? I've used these collars for flea tick control for 4 yrs on my highly allergic( to fleas) PitBoxer and rescue kitties...Never a prob..worked great .no fleas for. 8 months+no ticks. Not So This Time.
Walmart returned my money( I thought they were imposter collars..then Re bought at Chewy.com..same issue..NOT WORKING AT ALL.Fleas all over dog n cat..bad infestation with scabbing and constant scratching so pets are miserable. These collars are like placebos, what have you done?
I know in the South US (NC) we have fleas overload, but Seresto has controlled that every year but this year.
My whole house has fleas( thanks a lot Seresto) while I'm trusting the collars to work per usual. No! I have 2 miserable pets (cat doesn't go out, dog just to toilet)and now I need to de-flea house, beds and myself and disabled teen... despicable.
What have you done, changed the formula, using less potent ingredients, using way less of core ingredients?? Please do tell? I see I'm far from the Only customer who's been ripped off and now dealing with 2 miserable pets and 2 humans with fleas.
You truly need a court case at this point Seresto..the public are tired of scams while we are just trying to get by with our horrific economy..A once Great product, Now..USELESS, AND WASTED MONEY HARD TO COME BY.
SHAME ON YOU, YOUR COMPANY AND WHOMEVER IN CHARGE, CHOSE TO SCREW UP A GOOD THING.

A flea invasion

For a number of years I've used Seresto for my Australian Labradoodle but for some reason it doesn't work anymore. It's as if the fleas have become resistent to the product. I normally buy a new one every 6 to 7 months but as she kept on scratching, I bought her a new one last month. However, both my dog and my house are covered in fleas. No more Seresto for me.

Money well spent

My dogs were picking up several ticks on every single walk and we were finding them in the house. We also had a major flea issue last year too, despite regular flea tablets, and had to flea bomb the whole house to get rid of them. So we bought these collars 2 months ago and there has not been a single tick since! And as the weather warmed up we didn't see any fleas either. Definitely works well for my spaniels!

7 seresto collars, 3 dogs 4 cats

This is the 3rd year using the collars. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats. This year we've bought 2 for each animal thinking the 1st was a bad batch, but the 2nd collars didn't help at all with fleas either!!!! Very disappointed considering the money that's been put into these and them not work!!! What changed? 😧

44 euros for less than three weeks of pointless use

I paid 44 euros at the pharmacy for a Seresto collar for a large dog (over 8 kilos) Until then he had had a tablet from the vet. Less than three weeks after I put this collar on my flea-free dog, he began scratching and even whining before he scratched, clearly his reaction to the bites of fleas, many fleas. The collar is absolutely useless against fleas and internet research also shows its effectiveness against parasites was already in question five years ago, as well as being too poisonous to be sold in Canada. What a lousy product!!!!

I see a lot of negatives

I see a lot of negatives, but they're wrong. I did see one that stated, "You have to treat their bedding first" people.

Correct, the collar can not do all people.

I bought a spray, liquid spray from Rural King called "Repel-X," made by a company named Farnam. 12. U.S. dollars, then the collar.

Also, double collar when you remove it from the can; give it a snap before you place it on your pet.

I am very disappointed

I am very disappointed. This is the 2nd time I have purchased this collar for my dog. I expected it to work the same.
I have a small dog that only goes out when I take him for a walk.
I don't know what they have done to the product, it in no way does it work like last year.
Times are hard enough but to pay the price only to have it be like he has nothing on,
Like I said my first purchase was as advertised.
I don't usually take the time to write a negative review. I went looking for a place to write one, that is how disappointed I am.

So disappointing!! please don’t waste your money

Brought this collar for my dog after reading reviews. Absolute waste of £36 !!!! After approx 3 weeks my dog had the worst flea infestation imaginable! Had to get a flea tablet on prescription from the Vet which cost a further £50 but this was worth every penny!

Here’s the thing

Here’s the thing, all pet treatments won’t be effective if you don’t remove the infestation indoors and outdoors … We had a big flea problem that lasted a year , Seresto works to keep off new fleas , kills them and stops the breeding cycle , my cats have used various treatments but I like the collars because some of the spot on treatments ( prescription) caused chemical burns on one of my boys . Buy authentic collars though! They work for my cats but you have to sort out the environment first.

Not what i expected…

I have read so many good things about these collars but unfortunately this hasnt worked on my cat at all. Im still pulling 5-10 live fleas off my cat per day 😤. I brought this collar because i was told it would control the flea issue. However its made no difference. Maybe worth trying a different brand..
