Terrible awful company

Terrible awful company. They caused further damaged my washing, couldn't fix it on the first visit, rebooked for 3weeks later, cancelled that appointment the day before, will only book appointments at a day that suits them....impossible to get hold of... i have paid them upfront and am chasing for a refund. One of the most stressful experiences - avoid this company at all costs!

I needed a quote to fix an Electrolux washing machine. First time caller. After navigating there voice prompt which took forever, and was then asked to wait for an agent. I waited and waited for 20 minutes for an agent and gave up. Very poor service

Do not use if CEV

I work as clinical lead privately, for a clinically extremely vulnerable client in their own home.
This company sent a technician to the property, who point blank refused to wear a mask, even when the home owner offered to provide him with one, and explained the circumstances.
On the Service Force website, they are very vocal when it comes to following the guidelines, yet they forced a CEV client to put himself in danger to use their services. No customer who should be forced into this position in their own home.

Appears I’m not alone with regards to service force poor customer service. They had me pay up front £139 in the hope of repairing dishwasher. £50 would be retained as a call out charge if unable to repair. Of course they did not attend after rearranging, due to workers sickness. The second attempted visit they had the wrong post code so couldn’t find me although they had my phone number. I was originally told that they had attended and that I had told them my washing machine was now ok!!!

Steve Iredale came as a second visit because the schedulers hadn't included all the possible parts required. Steve texted me the previous eve and arrived on time. He swapped the part we were waiting for but still needed another which he found somewhere. We now have a working AEG microwave/Grill. Brill :).
It would have been 5/5 if They had sent all the parts first time. Steve is great though.

My partner bought a watch for my Christmas at the start of November. After 4 different dates. I finally told her to cancel my order (today 15-5-21). I have been a good costumer and a big fan of them for a few years. But after this I will never order from them again

Service Force, Service they cant be bothered

Service Force / the appointed service company for AEG Service Force number 014 22 263 271 (part of Pacifica group) out of Houghton Le Spring
Problem
AEG Microwave
Faulted /failed under warranty, eng fixed on 2nd visit by replacing the circuit board.
13mths later same fault now out of warranty
Service Force say not a known fault, well it is to me and others reporting the same fault on the web so that’s just a plain lie /cop out.
Their advice pay £140 for an engineer to visit, at this point feel reluctantly no choice.
(even though the repair is only guaranteed three months)
Paid up front waited 2 weeks for the appointed visit date, it’s an all-day slot so you have to wait in
Waited in all day No engineer turned up, no call explanation, no txt, nothing.
Phoned in the next day to be told someone had cancelled the appointment they don’t know why
Asked for a refund, no point in waiting another two weeks for a no show
Microwave looks brand new, but is going in the skip
I’ll chose a Brand that isn’t reliant on the service support of these incompetent cowboys
Customer Service isn’t something they understand One star because they don't do zero.

Two extremes !!!

My Zanussi washer (used 2 &1/2 months - under warranty) stopped dispensing the fabric conditioner. The first engineer stayed for 5-10 minutes - said the problem was water pressure and I would have to get a plumber as he was not a plumber. Second engineer was booked for 2 weeks later - disgusting as washer was under warranty. NEIL was a miracle worker. He solved the problem but had never seen the cause before (water inlet contained grit which had blocked the washer filter, this was in a new build property). He cleaned the filter etc...and made sure that the washer was working okay. He left everything in the kitchen clean and tidy. He was respectful and polite - the complete opposite from the first visit. I would only have NEIL to do any repairs if needed in the future.
Not happy at all with the fist visit. There shouldn't be such an extreme experience as this.

This most incompetent company which I guess AEG is hires. And AEG it self is very Incompetent in solving their appliance issues. Please don’t hire this company it’s a real joke hiring them. In this pandemic they have visited 4 times and they couldn’t fix the hob all 4 times. The reason is wrong parts ordered all 4 times. Would never deal with this company but have no choice. My product in warranty and AEG hires them.

DO NOT USE THEM

DO NOT USE THEM ! After many attempts after speaking to Freya there virtual reception and hours on the phone we got a service call, the engineer arrived and told us that the noise from our freezer was normal and that the fridge we had did not have a light, I told him that it did have when we had it installed two weeks ago so he had another look, and of course he found the light which was out, so he would order a replacement bulb. We are still waiting for the bulb after hours of phone call., In summary the engineer was an idiot , Freya the virtual voice was annoying and useless, the Service Force telephone system is not fit for purpose causing hours of frustration. Why companies like Zanussi, AEG and others use this shower is beyond me.

NO STARS if that was possible . . keep away from the Grimsby centre

Totally agree with the reviewer below .. Service Farce is perfect for the experience we have had so far from them. We bought a new dishwasher from Beko that has never worked from the day it was fitted. So sadly we ended up having to deal with this company from Grimsby. After waiting hours on the phone we finally got through to be told we had to wait 3 weeks for someone to come out which eventually they did. The first ‘service engineer’ arrived and did whatever and said it was ‘mended’ ( bearing in mind it’s brand new and shouldn’t be ‘broken’). He ran the dishwasher and said it was fine so the next day we loaded it only to find it wouldn’t work !!! Later that day we noticed water rising through our newly fitted floor and realised when he had run the programme it must have leaked underneath. Long story short the same person came back again and admitted it was leaking underneath and needed new pipes which needed ordering. Today another ‘service engineer’ ( a term I use loosely) came. He pulled the dishwasher out and was immediately on the phone to someone asking what he should do!!! This didn’t leave us with much confidence the new dishwasher would be ‘mended’. Eventually after speaking to him he decided the dish needed refitting - this was NEVER mentioned at the other two visits by what seemed a more experienced ‘engineer’. As you can imagine we was extremely unhappy to be fobbed off again and asked to speak to the manager. It would have been easier if we’d asked to speak to God as this ‘engineer’ denied he could put us through to him so he text and asked him to ring. Obviously we didn’t get a call from such a useless incompetent company and ended ringing him ourselves. He lied and denied things he had said previously and now won’t finish the job they should have done weeks ago because he’s NOW saying it needs re-fitting which if so we could have had it done weeks ago!!! So we still have no dishwasher and a very expensive new floor ruined due to total incompetence.

Nightmare company

AEG fridge/freezer icing up, freezer too cold, fridge too warm.
Took nearly an hour on the phone to book an engineer. He diagnosed blockage and re-gas needed. Two engineers (not wearing face masks) came to re-gas it.
Told over and over again that re-gas might not work.
It didn't - fridge actually worse and thermostat now has no effect.
Research on the Internet shows problem is usually caused by faulty thermostat or defrost mechanism, but Service Force disputed that and insisted on payment of £150.
Money wasted.
Avoid this company!

Faulty Oven

We moved into our brand new home and in the kitchen the only appliance that was faulty was the Oven. The shelf runners were stiff and would not glide in smoothly. We called the number and Engineer Nick Woon arrived. After showing him the problem he corrected it within minutes. Very impressed with the service and would recommend immediately.

AEG COOKER HOOD SENSOR PROBLEM

The technician appeared professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. He identified that the problem was due to a faulty circuit board.

After 3 weeks a replacement circuit board was fitted and whilst the hood appeared to be fully working, and linked to the hob, it subsequently turned out that the ‘hob2hood’ function didn’t work! Wrong circuit board?

Even though an immediate call was made with 0800Repair to discuss the ongoing fault, I was advised that as the work had been ‘signed off’ the day before it was necessary to start the process off again from the beginning! Very frustrating, annoying and no consideration for the customer.
