Well I requested them to fix the mold and repair the damage. They want money of front to come out. They removed the damage from the mold and then I asked when they were going to fix it and file wit... See more

Terrble experience with this company
My insurance company is apparently paying them for the shoddy work they performed following a major leak and flood from an upstairs apartment.
Servpro dropped off several dehumidifiers to dry as much as possible. At least 2 were defective, causing frequent short circuits.
When they removed damaged flooring they failed to cover up the surfaces underneath leaving bits of tar tracking everywhere- on unaffected floors, upholstery, and more. I had to plead to get them to come back with protective rosin paper. Even then, then they did not give me enough.
They picked up a water damged area rug and told me they would clean and return it. Eventually they did return it, without having successfully cleaned it.
They tried to charge me for a new…
They tried to charge me for a new bathroom vanity without installing one. I caught them before it was too late.
We recently experienced a major flood…
We recently experienced a major flood in our basement which occurred during
the night because of a major break in a water line that fed the sprinkler system
manifold. Water ran into two window wells and then into the basement. I called
SERVPRO at 8:00 am. Josh and his crew were there by 8:30 to clean up the water
and dry out the basement. After the basement was dried out, Kay and her crew
including Trent arrived to pack up everything and take it off site for storage. Soon
another crew arrived to do a ‘flood cut’ of the wet sheetrock and dry out the wet
studs and sill plates. Immediately, Joshua arrived to survey the damage and begin
putting our basement back together. He hired a local contractor and kept close
tabs on him during the process of replacing sheetrock, taping, texturing and
painting. Joshua then brought in SERVPRO’s carpet guy, Ryan, to replace the
carpet. After that, Kay had Trent and his team bring everything back from
storage. Currently, our basement is full of boxes. We are working to put back the
contents where they belong.
We want to compliment all of the SERVPRO people who contributed to getting
our basement back in order. Their quick response and timely action got our
problem taking care of as quickly as possible. We would recommend SERVPRO to
anyone.

I Used ServPro to Perform Mitigation and Reconstruction Which Has Caused Nightmares
I used ServPro to perform my mitigation work. They also persuaded me to utilize their reconstruction department. The initial interaction was ok. It was the reconstruction portion that caused all hell to happen. They failed to perform the work and took my cabinets that they removed without replacing them. We are currently being sued by them for a judgement of nearly $50k from a balance of approximately $12k. My family was displaced from our home for more than 3 months due to their failure to perform.
I only gave them a one-star rating…
I only gave them a one-star rating because I could not give a negative or zero rating; THEY DESERVE A ZERO. November 2023, I had damage to my basement due to flooding; I called a number of people/businesses before speaking to someone (Joe or Ralph?) at ServPro. I met two workers named Jovany (they told me the spelling was different)-who after speaking to me about the services (clean up, deodorizing and washing and drying of clothes) had me sign a tablet authorizing them to "suck up the water" and deodorize the place. I told them that I did not have a lot of money and wanted an ESTIMATE for what the cost for services would be; they said it would be provided later. That night, I spoke to someone named Joe who sent his plumber to clean the sewer line; I paid him a total of $750 because he had to return to the home a few days later to again to clear the line. I also told them that my mother was very ill and hospitalized and that I wanted to know the cost in order to budget for it and could not handle anything in the tens of thousands in fees--again I was told that someone in the office would provide the cost. The shorter Jovany also told me not to "worry about it" because ServPro would speak to the insurance company on my behalf and discuss cost as they had previous experience with doing so. The taller Jovany told me that they would take pictures of all of the items that were in the basement and send the pictures to ServPro, WASH AND DRY ("we have people that do that") all of the clothes that may have been wet due to the flooding and "bag up" items that weren't damaged but that needed to be away from the area. I was told that the clothes and items would be returned to us once they were washed and dried. Our clothes were kept for months, they DAMAGED THE LINE TO MY OIL TANK (verified by oil company employee) while pulling/digging up the floors, and dug up the flooring and the lower part of the walls. When the owner's son came to me a few weeks later and tried to get me to sign ANOTHER tablet form to install the flooring, I told him that I could not sign anything else until I received some sort of ESTIMATE. On 12/7/23, I received a document stating that the cost was "To be determined" and a document on 12/8/23 for "Release for Disposal of Belongings"--still no cost estimate. I sent texts to both Jovany's re: cost estimates and how to turn of the machines that they kept running in my basement 24/7 for days--I would not receive responses until I reached out and left a message asking for a Supervisor-then I would get a call back apologizing for the late response. After numerous requests for an ESTIMATE, voicing my dissatisfaction with their practices and requesting a call from a supervisor (I had spoken to Esmeralda a few times), I received a bogus invoice for over $30,000. For what? To tear up flooring, and bottom half of the walls and cutting a hole in the basement ceiling? After speaking to Ralph about my mother's illness and subsequent death, Ralph told me to "settle things" around my mother's final expenses and then reach back out. In the interim, they had requested insurance payment information (insurance paid $5,000), which I provided. The final straw is ServPro sending a poorly-written letter demanding almost $60,000. Again, for what?! I don't have it and they are thieves! They did not restore anything! I got estimates for restoring the entire basement that does not cost anywhere near that! I am not through with SUBMITTING NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT ServPro and I would NEVER NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. SERVPRO NORTH YONKERS IS THE WORST!!!!! They have my daughter's property, including jewelry, clothes, unopened liquor from outside of the United States, Nutri Bullet, never worn sneakers, plus other things, that they have kept in "storage" for almost a year, returning only a few articles of clothing after my daughter called numerous times.
Homeowners BEWARE
Servpro of Addison was hired to mitigate a water damage event. They left behind saturated drywall, sitting water in the crawlspace, and ran their dehumidifier lines into a sink with the stopper STILL IN. They flooded the good side of our dining room further, admitted their mistake, but wouldn't pay for their damages.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Servpro cuts local contractors out of work
I recommended Servpro to one of my long-term customers, who had water damage from a broken pipe. I was told by the property manager I would be doing the removal of the sheetrock. The Servpro salesperson on scene convinced them to cut me out of the job. As a small contractor I takes food from my mouth. Nice way to operate Servpro.
My experience with servepro was…
My experience with servepro was excellent Patrick DK Jay and William were very professional and explained everything and made it easy for me to understand.
Wender Hung and his incredible crew…
Wender Hung and his incredible crew were so professional, so courteous and careful with my cherished belongings when I left I had tears in my eyes. The fire at 5555 W Manchester Ave was devastating for so many but both of my units were carefully emptied, the walls and floors wiped with anti-microbial liquid and they allowed me to help place everything back inside. Their constant photo-taking guided much of the placement but I couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more polite and respectful experience than Wender and his crew of 10. I was lucky the fire didn’t damage anything in my units and know they’ll treat everyone as they did me, much stress was relieved. Thank you!
You are terrible to customers
You are terrible to customers. I am glad that I went with a different company.
There When We Needed Them
Recently the hot water hose on our upstairs tub failed in the middle of the night. The resulting flood made its way from the second floor, to the first, and down to the basement.
After talking to the insurance company, we called Servepro. They sent out Kiikzhan Moldakhanov, one of the nicest and hardest working individuals we've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
He came to the house, assessed the situation, and began the clean-up process immediately. He checked in every day, often staying several hours. Bottom line: how ever long it took to get the job done he took it.
He usually saw us in the late afternoon. Even though he had begun his day around 7:00 am and still had several more calls to make after us that would take him well into the evening, he always took the time needed with our project and was consistently professional, friendly, and courteous.
People like Kiikzhan are why Servepro can rightly boast that if you use them, they'll make it "Like it never even happened."
I don't recommend having a water leak or some other calamity, but if you do, I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending Servepro to get it fixed.
DO NOT USE SERVPRO!
On Aug 6th 2024 I had SERVPRO come to my house to set up fans and dehumidifiers for water I had received in all three of my bedrooms here in Florida that are carpeted. I was told it would cost $2,900. They came in only set up fans no dehumidifiers and left them overnight. They took off all my baseboards and put them in the garage. The next day different guys showed up to pick up the fans and I thought they were going to take off my tack strips that were all moldy and put back my baseboards as this was told to me from the guys who set up the fans in my house. Apparently the guys who take the fans do not take out the tack strips for the carpeting or replace the baseboards. I was then told by Matt King the sales guy at SERVPRO that it would be extra to have that taken care of by another team. That was never mentioned to me on the initial visit. I paid the down payment of $1450 but I refuse to pay the balance of the $2900 since the work was not completed properly. This company is a rip off!! They do NOT do what they say they will do to help remedy your issue. Restoration companies are supposed to restore your home so it looks like you never had any damage. Now I am stuck taking the tack strips off and replacing my baseboards.
DO NOT USE SERVPRO TO REBUILD
The immediate response from Servpro (Lawrence.Ma) was great. Brian and his crew did a great job bringing in the fans and getting the process going. The MAJOR issue with Servpro was their RECONSTRUCTION TEAM. From making broken promises, lack of communication, delays, not showing up on Mondays and Fridays, and increasing the total invoice price after we already made 2 payments. The reconstruction crew did shoddy workmanship, they tried charging for work either not complete or wasn’t done at all, and were very unprofessional when I wanted to discuss the “inflated” invoice they wanted me to pay eventho the owner of Servpro recognized they didn’t perform certain work and was “willing to split the cost they charged, eventho the work was never performed.” Servpro used to be a reputable company but not anymore. I will NEVER recommend Servpro for Reconstruction, they need to stick with what works for them: Remediation
Obnoxious Saleman and Quote
I recently had a very disappointing experience with a salesman from your SERVPRO of North Milwaukee, WI regarding a water damage project.
The salesman was extremely obnoxious and attempted to intimidate me, which was laughable. Maybe "arm-bar" sales tactics worked in the 50s but your salesman is biting off way more than he dare to try and chew.
His unprofessional behavior and aggressive tactics were not only ineffective but also gives your company a bad name.
I expect a higher level of professionalism and respect from a national franchise business.
Avoid this franchise. It is the epitome of greed and desperate sales tactics.
Don’t use Servpro
We recently had a small water leak in the bathroom that went unnoticed for several weeks. Due to the extent of the damage, we filed an insurance claim and they sent ServePro to address the moisture and evaluate possible mold. Long story short, they removed part of the drywall and subfloor, and then installed hanging plastic and fans. Seemed reasonable initially, but now almost 9 weeks in they won’t come back to finish the job. They sent a crew out about 2 weeks after the first visit to remove drywall in an area that wasn’t even close to the location of the leak. An independent contractor inspected the house and found more mold behind the kitchen cabinets and explained that should have been addressed at the beginning. This company is apparently run by incompetent employees who don’t communicate very well. Their customer service is just bad. If I knew before what I know now, I would have never let them in the house. Anyone needing this type service should look elsewhere because you're asking for a load of grief dealing with Servpro because there is nothing “Pro” about them.
RIP OFF
They came quickly and did the work. I gave them 1500 to begin. They did not do any work beyond clean up. I was told they did not take restoration jobs less than 10,000. So much for like it never happened. When the work was done I asked if there was an additional charge. The man doing the work did no know. Thirty days later I got a call about an overdue bill. Never got a bill. They said I owed another 2,900. I asked for a detailed bill. A day later David called and said I was over billed and only owed 1,400. I had to make 5 calls to get an itemized bill. Through the whole process no additional cost was ever mentioned. Don’t use this company.
Do you have a small remodel job
Do you have a small remodel job? Do you want your 30-45 day quote to extend behind schedule for another 45++ days? Do you want the work to be sub par with lousy communication and workers not showing up on-site for DAYS at a time?! Then Servpro is for you. SERVPRO of Northwest Phoenix / Anthem will ensure your simple project of just 1100 square feet is a nightmare from the very beginning! You’ll get their full service “blame game” of previous tenants’ issues and ignorant excuses to cost you more money with old favorites like “I don’t know what happened to the existing garbage disposal we were going to re use – let’s charge you for another one!” and new ones sure to become classics like “this flooring is really close to what you have now, it’ll look seamless” (spoiler, it wasn’t.) just to name a few. And the best part is that the boss doesn’t care. I know what you’re thinking, it sounds too good to be true. I promise it’s true. So make sure you add “babysitting my Project Manager” to your existing list of Things To-Do and hire Servpro for your next “how hard can it be, any idiot can do it” project!
