SEVEN is an independent record store and reord label based in the heart of Berlin Mitte, and selloing records all over the world. We're focused on house and techno and we are deeply immersed in Berlin's underground music scene. From the team of 7 of us working here (yes that's a co-incidence with the name) 5 of us are working DJ's. In the shop you'll find carefully chosen vinyl, DJ gear, apparel and books. CRYME does A&R for our own labels, choosing all the music we release ourselves, Jonny (Mojo) chooses all the records in the store, Rachel Noon runs the Ambient & World section and writer Alexander Cheves chooses the books. You can order online for delivery anywhere in the world, or come and collect in store and have a proper dig through the racks with us. Our stock refreshes live from the shop floor, so what you see online is what's really there. We are music nerds and technical nerds so our stock systems are remarkably good and we obsess about making sure we actually have the records we think we have. We ship records all day and orders recevied by 1430 CET almost always go out same day. We stock our own releases alongside records from labels and artists we rate, from big names to under-the-radar you might not know but will love. Behind the store sits our record label, also called SEVEN, putting out new music from artists in our community. We run a few sister labels too: a.2aum, and PRNCPTL with our friends at Pornceptual — plus the daily BCCO mix series on SoundCloud. We started SEVEN because we wanted a warm, welcoming space for the scene: somewhere you can find great records, get an honest recommendation, and feel part of something bigger than a shop. We're a small team who genuinely care about the people who come through the door, whether that's online or in person. No pressure, no attitude just good music and people happy to help. So if you are visiting Berlin don't be scared to drop in, you will always get a warm welcome at SEVEN. Whether you're a working DJ, a lifelong collector, or someone buying their first vinyl, we would love to meet you.
