It was easy to purchase and set up the insurance however, a good thing is we never had to use it so we’ll see how it goes for next time.

I gave this insurance company 1 star because when I really needed help, I was left completely alone.

I was feeling very unwell and spent 5 hours in the hospital trying to get assistance through my insurance. When I contacted the insurance company and explained that I did not have the money to pay for the treatment myself, they kept insisting that I had to pay first and only afterwards they might reimburse me.

For five hours I tried to explain that I simply did not have that kind of money. That is exactly why I purchased insurance in the first place — to have support in an emergency situation if I could not afford medical expenses on my own.

Unfortunately, in reality the insurance company did not help me in any way. In the most difficult moment, I was left alone with my problem.

Easy to fill out paperwork

Filing a claim with this insurance company has been extremely frustrating. They continually try to redirect responsibility to my U.S.-based insurance provider for overseas coverage, even though I specifically purchased their travel insurance policy for that purpose. It has been over five months, and communication has been slow, inconsistent, and has now virtually stopped altogether. Based on my experience, I would not trust this company to handle claims or provide reimbursements reliably.

I payed for the insurance but nwver had to use it, which I guess is good. Because I never used it I have no experience on how good will the product be if someone used it. Hrnce a 3 star review.

I do not understand your company policies ...so I gave it a 1 because. 1. It was very expensive...over $700 for me. and 2. I did call about my bag that I had left on a bus from the plane to baggage in Lisbon. It was at the airlines and after much investigagion by me...., I found it when I got home. I can explain how...if you cared. I called and you could not send the bag back to me. Just pay me for what was in it if I never found it. That seems weird to me. It had important notebooks in it. After paying $775 and asking nothing of you , I was surprised you could not send the bag back to me. It was a medium sized shoulder bag....not a suitcase.
