Ordered a front door for my outside kitchen and although I found the sizing difficult due to the door size, the calculator did it's job. Once ordered the door came quickly and seems of good quality for the price. I will be using again for the terrazza

Well done! It was a complex project—with lots of measurements that had to be followed precisely. shade4you was the only supplier out of 15, who accepted my request and delivered within 5 days in high quality. Wow!

Please do not buy from shades4you, and make sure you understand their pricing as you have to pay an additional 30% prior to delivery and poor quality product. I would have given them 0 rating if I could. I purchased a material sail for my pergola from their website which included 20% vat since UK was not in the EU as indicated. After almost 7 days I received an email from UPS that I had to pay further 30% prior to delivery. When I contacted Shades4you their response was basically it had not to do with them, I told them I had already paid 20% extra for vat…. But the response was it is what it is….. not happy at all since it they were honest in their publication I could have bought the item cheaper elsewhere. The product quality is also sub standard.

Excellent service! Really appreciate a company that is knowledgeable about their product, makes and sends exactly what you think you've ordered, for a reasonable price and in good time. We ordered custom-size shade strips for our pergola. Arrived from Poland to the UK in no time at all.. just over a week perhaps.. 10/10 would reccomend. Very happy customer 😀

Everything perfect. I made a sketch of my required shade sail. All dimensions and placement of eyelets met the requirements. After making the order they immediatelly estimated time of delivery for 6 days. And after 7 days I really had it with me. So I can recommend this shop.

Be VERY careful. We chose our product and accepted UPS shipping of just under £30. We then receive an email to tell us we have to pay a further £150.88 in customs charges. No option to return the product as the product is made to measure, no help offered from the store. I did say at no point would we have paid almost £200 in delivery fees. If you are buying from the UK I wouldn't chance it. No idea as to quality of product yet, only arrived today.

I ordered via eBay and they come from Poland which is fine (additional customs fees apply), unless you have a problem.

I ordered some canvas sun shade strips for a pergola. They arrived (after delivery was rescheduled on the day they were supposed to arrive) and are as ordered, No complaints there, however……the assembly video for the product clearly shows a mounting kit that includes hooks and expanders. I assumed this would be included in the box so when I opened and noticed hooks but no expanders I queried with them.

The response baffled me. Apparently this is an additional option (yes, actually being able to put them up is additional to the product itself). They went on to say that their description does not say that the assemble straps are included. From a customer point of view it should clearly state that they aren’t not just assume that because they don’t mention it it’s obvious. The assembly video also shows the mounting straps but again no mention of it being additional to the product.

It’s a nuisance because this stuff comes from Poland and not an easy addition because I’ll have to pay another customs fee to get what either should have been supplied in the box or should have been clear that you can’t put them up without a mounting kit.

In my view a very annoying approach. While the product is fine it’s a faff dealing with them - I get very short responses basically batting me off.

By from a UK seller is my advice, or be very specific and planned about what you are buying from them as they have no desire to quickly rectify your problem.

Perfect as expected. The price is good in relation to the quality and the customer service is excellent.

Had some difficulty with payment at first, but that was solved with one email. Even when it turned out that we were missing some connecting pieces, this was quickly resolved with just one email.

We received three rolls of cables for our shade (small mounting kit), but due to the small size (2 × 2.5 m) we only needed 1.5 rolls. We kept the rest as spare.

Because we have round beams (chestnut wood), the plates with the eyes may not be easy. Then screw-eyes might be a bit more pleasant. But we still chose to keep the plates with the eyes.

I had a veranda built and had little budget over to have retractable roof blinds fitted. The quotes from companies local, national and overseas varied immensely. I came across this company initially on Amazon and started discussing my custom requirements with them, as the reviews I could see were positive especially about value for money. They were extremely helpful in the quotation and ordering process. I needed their help as I found their website not the easiest to navigate but it is functional and since they helped me it didn’t really matter. They delivered within a fortnight which is what they had estimated. No difficulties with import duties - it was very straight forward. The blinds arrived and I can only say I am absolutely thrilled with the quality. They are up and look beautiful.
