They're fine even if over priced

They're fine even if over priced. Seriously nothing in the zero drop/ "barefoot" shoe and sandal market isn't over priced. Wait for a sale, Slow to ship but it's a small company so I can let that slide a little bit. Send them an e-mail if you're active duty or veteran for a 20% off code. There are other codes for 10% off around some review sites also.

I contacted the company about defective…

I contacted the company about defective sandals. They claim they aren’t defective and I would have had to contact them within 30 days. The sandals are just okay…nothing special. I would recommend a different company.

What a rip off

What a rip off! Waaay OVERPRICED. AND poorly designed. The forefoot has s not constrained from moving sideways letting the big toe out onto the ground; by contrast my $15 Havaiana flip flops hold the forefoot securely.

Sandals never arrived

I ordered my sandals express delivery and after almost a week they have not arrived. I’ve called and emailed them and they don’t answer. Awful service!!! Don’t waste your money.

sandals are ok; customer service, atrocious.

I purchased a pair of $120 sandals 6 weeks ago, paid for express shipping and never received the sandals. Shamma did so many annoying things: after a week, they sent me an email saying they shipped. 5 days later, they actually arrived at a usps station. But I’ve never received the sandals. Their “customer service” is god awful: when I told them I wanted a refund, after nearly a month, they said they would remake and ship them. I said no, refund me, and they said they would show up at some point. I filed a claim with my credit card company but shamma has still not refunded. All that said, I own two pair of their sandals, and I do like them. Are they better than other minimalist sandals? Yes and no. But the company itself has become a joke to me, and I’d not recommend doing business directly with them.

Paid $100 for what was advertised as…

Paid $100 for what was advertised as BRAND NEW shamma sandals and instead I received USED sandals that still had dirty toe marks from someone else! No product integrity & they also prohibit HONEST reviews from their website. I put a 1 star on their page & they blocked the review. Dishonest company that rips off their customers. Go buy from any other sandal company, at least you'll get what you paid for.

Nice idea, undermined by terrible craftsmanship

When they arrived, I thought they were amazing, only slightly worried about the cheap flip flop style strap attachment to the sole, comforted by the hefty price tag. But Half Way through my holiday, the strap snapped off at the sole... .... 100£ up in smoke and no decent sandals. I'm sorry this is a good strap system but terrible quality shoemaking craftsmanship. Have had 100£ handmade sandals in the past, that lasted well over 5 years. Shamma, you have a good idea - the strap system - but your quality level is at the 15£ mark and no higher - swale your pride and get it made in China if you are not going to step up.

Also note how they don't show in their images, Any picks of how the straps are attached to the sole... As this is the important, but terrible part of their product. No high end or even medium sandal producer uses button holes to fix the soles... Because they are famously bad. Shame on you Shamma.
