Not Just About The Weight

I came to the program hoping to not just lose weight but learn how to really incorporate healthy habits and ENJOY the lifestyle. So as much as the tracking, workouts, water, steps, rest, self-care are all foundational pieces (12 pounds gone and several inches as well!!) developing that healthy mindset, truly being able to look forward to taking care of my body & the workouts, having fun with the process, the support and insight from both Shane & Amber was so helpful & inspiring and was my biggest win!

Tools to succeed

This program has given me the tools I needed to feel and look my best. The weekly coaching sessions are a great way to fine tune my workouts and keep me motivated, focused, and consistent. The supplements suggested have helped improve my energy and endurance. I’m also sleeping better. I’d recommend anyone new to fitness or any who wants help getting to the next level to give this a try.

Great program

This is a fantastic, educational, and effective program. The App is very user friendly and the recipes are amazing. I am able to fit this program into my family and I am not making separate meals. This truly is a lifestyle change and my Coach Amber helps every step of the way. I have learned to incorporate new habits and workouts into my life that are realistic, I enjoy and I know I can stick with long term.

Lack of professionalism


I reached out out of curiosity to understand pricing and services. Instead of receiving transparent information, I was met with vague responses and pressure toward a call without clear cost details. When I asked direct questions about pricing and scope, the tone shifted and became dismissive.

As someone with a clinical science background who keeps up with regular medical testing, I value professionalism, clarity, and respect in health-related services. Blocking a potential client for asking reasonable questions is not professional behavior.

Transparency and respectful communication are essential in coaching. I did not feel either was present in this interaction.

Trusting the process

I'm in my third month of the program. When I first started, I was in constant pain, very discouraged, and unsure of myself. I was an ultra runner before my knee stopped me. I've been struggling for years to feel like myself again. They tailored the workouts to my needs and abilities. Following the training has helped with my pain levels and gotten me back on track. I'm feeling more confident and comfortable with everything now.

Learned about myself

Really, I wish I could give a 4.5 star rating but it was not an option.
The time frame for being on this program was for 3 1/2 months. Why did I participate? My goal was to lose about 10 lbs, to learn to work with macros, to lose some of the inches I could pinch in places, to get some notable muscle definition in my arms and less fat at my waist, and learn some workout programs that I could do at the comfort of our home. I wanted to be headed in the right direction with me at the driver’s wheel and in control.

The “greats” about the program…As I said earlier, my goal was to lose about 10 lbs. It was a lofty goal for a 63 year old, since it had been 40 years since I was at that weight. I didn’t have a lot of weight to lose but I just couldn’t shake it. I needed to learn HOW to alter my approach to eating, working out, etc, to change course. I felt chubby while not eating much. In fact, I was not eating enough, period. What my coach Patty and the team taught me was to look at what I was eating and how it effected the macro count and the entire calorie total that I needed to achieve. I believe in facts and am an information junkie, so this was perfect. The exercise program that was setup was doable and I will continue with that in the future. Coach Patty was encouraging and positive and steered me in different directions when we needed to make adjustments. So all in all, the program is sustainable and I learned about myself and what needs to happen in the future to be healthy and stronger.
The not so greats were just a few little things. One, the meal plans. I tried to follow menus and buy all the ingredients, but I couldn’t keep up. It was just easier for me to log what I ate. I do appreciate that the app allowed me to do that. I wish that the exercise plans were changed up a bit. Although, I liked them and was focused on increasing my weights, it would have been nice to have some variations.

Overall, I am happy with the results. There is still a little chubby middle (smaller though), but the inches have come off and the clothes fit great. Also, my arms are more defined. I got close to meeting my weight goal, and hopefully one day I will.

If you are open to learning about becoming a healthier, stronger version of your positive self, I think this is a good program. No regrets here!

For the workouts on the weekly check in form, you have the option to request workout updates/reviews as well as the ongoing communication with your coach to keep it fun and exciting, but also making sure you're not changing too often which is counter productive (the opposite in your case tho!)

As for the meal plans, that's good feedback but also surprising as we're able to tailor exactly to what you need, and make ingredients shopping easy peasy. I will make sure this info is clear and well communicated moving forward.

Best money ever spent!

I was hesitant to spend money on yet another "healthy"program. It was the best money I have ever spent! Shane has set up a beautifully complete training program personally customized to each client. My coach was Amber, my warrior goddess! She was my everything and everyone for the duration of my program. From texting and emails to multi weekly check-ins and catch-ups, Amber was available anytime for silly questions, or changes to my program. More than that, she was my inspiration, my cheerleader, my conscious and my guide. Many thanks to both Shane and Amber. I not only lost weight and inches; I gained insight into what to eat when and why. I am looking forward to continuing with Shane and Amber in the "graduate" program.

Best thing I ever did for myself

I am so grateful that I one day when I was sitting feeling sorry for myself scrolling through Instagram I stumbled upon some of Shane's posts. Over the last few years in my 40's I had been steadily gaining weight. Often I would try to fight back - I would workout and push hard doing the same workouts i was doing 10 years prior and trying to eat healthy. However, inevitably the workouts would eventually exhaust my body or injure it. I would get depressed and frustrated, my anxiety was through the roof, i was not sleeping and i would 'graze' through the night. I was beating myself up feeling I was wasn't mentally tough enough to push through like i used to and I was so angry at myself for becoming so out of shape. I had been to Dr's who dismissed me, trainers that were giving me much of the same - I tired hormone creams on line.......I was desperate.

When I first spoke with Shane my initial thought was "Right, what is THIS guy going to tell ME a 40 something woman in perimenopause about how to fix this' but my guard came down very quickly because THIS GUY had something different to say, we didn't talk about diets we spoke about gut health, he didn't preach about lifestyle change he had a specific plan that would be precisely customized to me and so I gave it a shot.

I was matched with Esin as my trainer a truly over the last few weeks she has become a lifeline. I was immediately struck by her lighthearted and down to earth nature and her bright, positive energy - and though i feel i am the polar opposite of that lol, I still found it very easy to talk to her very openly about what I was feeling and struggling with and I was very honest about what I needed to make it work for me. I remember she asked me what I wanted most and I told her "I just want to feel like a woman again'.

First, we created my food guide which is filled with many of my favorite foods; for instance, I told Esin how much I love cheese (like, really love it) now, I eat cheese everyday...I eat bread! ...and I don't feel guilty about it! I told her i wanted easy, quick cook type of meals and it was exactly what i received even tweaking things a few times to make it exactly to my taste; to give you an idea I showed a friend my menu and she said "wow, this isn't boring at all - these dishes look great!" and I have plenty of options! even going out of the safety of my kitchen and into the real world I feel i can still go out and enjoy a nice meal and still stay in line with my menu.

We also reviewed all my workouts and by my second week I was smiling again - I was enjoying working out again my body felt strong! More than that I was sleeping better, my anxiety lifted and I felt happy :)

The workouts and meals were easy to fit into my days and felt very conducive with a life as a busy Mom with a demanding full time job.

Esin, checks in everyday somedays we seem to chat through the morning some mornings its pretty quick but the accountability is key and I find sometimes when I'm not feeling it and I'm really in my head our chats help me get passed it and change my perspective for the day.

Over the course of the last 6 weeks I have lost weight consistently, I have lost 30 inches overall, (so far) and my body fat has dropped. I believe in this program so much I also signed my 18 year old son up - though he is just onboarding now he has watched me the last few weeks and said he really likes working out with me and loves sharing my food :) Esin is now working on his customized workout and customizing a overall plan that works for someone who is going to be off to college in a few months.

I am so grateful to have been presented with this opportunity and with these people. This 'program' is so easy to fit into any life with what I felt were pretty simple tweaks that have a huge impact

So maybe if you're reading this and you're where I was and you're exhausted and tired of screaming into the wind and no one listening and don't know how to start to make it better and maybe you feel like somewhere you lost yourself and you don't know how to get her back and now you're just about to give up - maybe just take one more chance on yourself, reach out - for me this program has changed everything not just the weight its been healing from the inside out and I know it can help anyone who is willing to take the first big scary step.

This Program and Coach Patty changed my life.

This program along with coach Patty saved me. I had been spiraling down with what life hits at you, and I had to waive the white flag. I was burnt out, in a lot of pain and exhausted. Of course, I was skeptical and thought OMG am I choosing the right path? It is now about 8mths later and I can say ABSOLUTELY!
Patty is amazing and was there for me 24/7! She taught me nutrition with this stage in my life and got me back to workouts. She had her hands full with me from 2 neck surgeries, 3 shoulder surgeries, 1 arm surgery and countless chronic ailments as well as a genetic metabolic issues. When I started, I still had Plantar fasciitis which I no longer have!
I'm down 40lb so far and down 45 Cholesterol points which also means they do not have to put me on medication! My body physically hurts less and I'm not literally rolling out of bed.
I can't say enough positive things about Coach Patty and all the tools she's shared and taught me. I went through the Holidays and still lost weight while enjoying the 'moments'. These tools will carry me forward for this second part of life's journey.
As Shane says, "It doesn't get easier, you get stronger". That is 100% true.

Finally a program that works and if you’re lucky enough to get Esin as a coach, you’ve hit the jackpot!

I am so glad I started this journey on Shane’s program.
I found it very easy to stick to, and I don’t feel hungry at all!
Esin my coach, is SO friendly with an excitable nature that is infectious!! .. She cheers me on daily, and always has encouraging words and advice to keep me on track and in a positive headspace.
I’m ever so grateful to her for the weight I’ve lost already.
The greatest part of all is I’ve learned the skills that I need to make this a lifelong process without deprivation.
I’ve lost about 4 kilo’s and I’m so motivated to keep going.
Don’t hesitate to give it a try as it really does work.

This was a great experience. Amber, my coach, taught me so much. She is a wealth of health knowledge. She did not judge me when I made mistakes, instead she encouraged me through it and helped me come up with strategies to support my growth. I highly recommend this program especially for women 40 plus who are on their menopause journeys.

A worthwhile program!!

After a lifetime of trying different ways to lose weight, this program, or lifestyle change I should say, has WORKED, and worked well. From coaching with Amber, to meal planning (not easy for me), almost 6 months later and I made it!!!!! My 4 stars are only because of my own personal struggles in the beginning trying to figure out 3 different apps for logging meals, for workouts and for communication! Once I got the swing of it, it was simpler. But I will say it was definitely an adjustment~ but here I am. It doesnt help that I am a nightshift nurse, so what works for most, I had to keep in mind my sleep etc is different. Yes, I was hungry at times, but not always, and yes I had to adjust to lifting weights, and meal prepping, but again, I have adjusted, and am down 17+ lbs and feeling better!! Overall, thanks to Amber, my coach, and Sherlyn, a new friend who got me started on this journey, I am feeling great and moving forward!!

Wish I started sooner

I watched another’s testimony on IG and totally related to what she said (didn’t want to be in the same place a year later).

I was using $$ as a reason not to commit and it was valid to weigh the investment, but I blamed “saving for a house” and “kids’ sports” etc as reasons not to go forward. I think I was also worried about failure and what ifs like - “will I gain it all back when I am through?” And “Will I reach my goal weight?” I was afraid of the investment and fear of unknown outcome. I wanted a guarantee.

Then I heard a sermon at church and my pastor encouraged those struggling with darkness (weight, addiction, suicidal thoughts, etc.) to invest in the help needed. That was when I made my decision to fully commit. It felt confirmed by my faith that it was ok to put that time, effort, and financial resources to improving my health - and you know what? 6 months later, I sit in the house my husband and I closed on 1 month ago! God knew what I needed and he provided me with the financial resources and support to achieve an 18 lbs. weight loss (I did not reach my goal but not as a result of the program/coaching not working). I hit a couple plateaus during the weight loss journey, experienced a huge move, displacement from evacuating during LA fires (by choice), worked on stress management and working with my body not against it, and so much more.

Whatsapp worked well for me to communicate with my coach. One element I would love to see offered thru the PT app would be a way to record your workouts for your coach to review form & give feedback. Otherwise, the PT app worked well for me and I found the personal coaching being very helpful not solely with workouts and meal planning but more the day to day check ins when “real life” was happening. Personal coaching is more than just designing a meal plan and workouts, it trains your brain, shifts perspective, and offers various feedback tools not just the scale/tape measure which is really important as a whole program. :)

My time with my coach (Lauren) has ended but I feel prepared to continue towards my weight loss goal (10 lbs to go) and have a solid maintenance plan to keep me going after I hit my goal.

I thank God for sending me encouragement to take action and focus on the temple he has given me, and for placing Shane’s IG ads in my stories (lol) and for Shane partnering me with Lauren who was the precise coach I needed to learn from. Lauren is gracious and encouraging, offers perspective, and has been such a cheerleader! She focuses on small wins and is there to celebrate with you during the big ones - like when your pair of jeans that used to fit SO tight now fit better than when you bought them you could maybe go down a size win.

I have a foundation now thanks to what I have learned and the small changes I’ve made (prioritizing protein & still enjoying pancakes) has become a stackable habit / meal planning I enjoy.

I Worked For Me


I got off to a slow start in terms of weight loss, but stuck with it thanks to some pretty intense and thoughtful coaching, and landed right at my goal weight. Even better, my overall body composition changed more than I had ever envisioned. Now 61 years old, I ended this program looking, feeling and moving better than I have in years.

Honestly, Patty’s coaching was the key. I am a person who needs both understanding and a firm hand when it comes to coaching, and Patty picked up on that right from the start. She constantly fine tuned my nutrition and training programs to keep me on track. And she managed to convince me that success was right there waiting for me; my only job was to trust the plan and be consistent. Patty was right.

What surprised me about this program is the degree of personalization. It is not at all a one-size-fits-all approach that papers you with boilerplate meal plans, work outs and the like. The nutrition and exercise programming is written just for you. They are crafted to fit your lifestyle, your body, and your mindset - and they get updated as often as needed to keep you progressing. The daily check ins with your coach keep you engaged and feeling supported. I’ve worked with one-on-one with private trainers for twenty years but their involvement never extended much past the end of our hour together. They were not in habit of checking in every day to see how I was doing, ask how the day’s nutrition and training was working out for me, or see if I any questions to go over. This program has all that baked into it, and it is a total game changer.

This journey has been transformational

This journey has been transformational. Halfway to my goal weight, I feel more empowered, knowledgeable, and confident than ever before. I’m not just making choices to support weight loss—I’m embracing decisions that inspire growth in another aspect of my life. For the first time in a few years, I feel comfortable in my own skin and deeply proud of the progress I’ve made.

A significant part of my success is thanks to the exceptional support from my coach, Billy. His daily encouragement, expert nutritional guidance, personalized meal plans, and tailored exercise routines have been invaluable. Billy’s unwavering compassion and dedication have kept me motivated and focused, guiding me through the shifts needed to reach my goals. I couldn’t have achieved this without his support. I’m excited to see how much further I can go!

Program works but needs some fine tuning.....

I achieved my goal - which for me ultimately was to fit into clothes I hadn't been able to wear comfortably for a couple of years. In all, I lost 13 lbs.

My coach, Billy, was timely in responses and encouraging.

Beyond that, the program did not meet my expectations. The program offers to provide a “tailored nutrition plan”. I was given a bunch of recipes which didn’t have a lot of variety. I found several of the recipes to be poorly written. I was instructed to choose a few recipes and rotate those for "best results". Not ideal for long term.

The program also offers to provide a “customized exercise program”. The exercise program needs work. For a program which is marketed to women, please use women for your videos. Additionally, the videos had no instruction so if you do not have experience with the exercises, you will most likely end up doing them incorrectly. In my opinion this is irresponsible as it could result in injury. My instruction for exercise was inconsistent. First I was given a program with circuit training. Then halfway through, I was given a new program and told that circuit training was not as beneficial. I ended up using an app that I had already been using since I was achieving results through the use of that app.

As another reviewer mentioned, the use of multiple platforms was frustrating. This needs to be streamlined. Receiving menus and zoom invitations via whatsapp was annoying to say the least. I requested the zoom invitations via email only to continue to receive them via whatsapp. I typically had to forward any pdfs to my email to review at a later time. They were not easy to view on my phone.

I often requested information and never received it. I attribute this to the coaches being too busy and forgetting to follow up.

In my opinion, clients should be teamed up with a coach from their own country. Although Billy was responsive and encouraging, the time difference was an issue at times. I found myself scheduling zoom calls at times which were convenient for my coach and not as convenient for myself. Additionally, although recipes are universal, people from different countries eat different foods. It was a minor issue, but still an issue. There were times that Billy sent links for me to purchase something through Amazon. The link was for the British website, not the US, and I was unable to find the product on the US website.

Finally, towards the end of my four months, I had not yet achieved my weight goal and had asked Billy what the “next steps” were and how I was to continue without his guidance. He avoided my question. We did go a few days beyond the four months – I was one pound away from my goal – and then he ghosted me. I sent a message sharing I had met my weight goal with no response. I was not instructed how to “maintain” the weight I achieved. No “good luck and best wishes, it’s been great working with you.” Not even an offer to extend the program. Just complete silence. This was the most disappointing of all. I understand the program was for four months, but the program did not set me up for success or even provided me with what was promised.

My advice to others considering signing up with Shane, there are other similar programs out there, do your research and ask questions, before doing so.

I’m unable to find a way to respond to Shane’s response, so I’ve edited my review by responding below.

Shane, I commented in the WhatsApp chat on September 23 about how I felt about the workouts. I also provided reviews through your app on the weekly questionnaire. I also discussed this at other times with Billy and he did update the program, but ultimately it was flawed and disappointing. At this point, he suggested I go back to the app I’d been using.

As far as getting in touch with me, if you realized the app had been archived, why did no one try reaching out via email?

It’s surprising hearing you say that. After reviewing your chat thread with Billy, when you received your plan you replied “The meal plan looks good – pretty doable. I’ll probably repeat breakfast and lunch for ease”. Your comprehensive meal plan consisted of 28 recipes tailored to you. We then provided custom recipes throughout the program, as well as recipe books. Plus the education and training to creating your own meals so you didn’t have to follow a meal plan for life, which is the training for intuitive eating and no longer having to track or follow a plan. We are constantly adding new tasty recipes and you had the opportunity to request more at anytime.

On your personal platform for your workouts you have both video demonstrations and written descriptions for every exercise, plus you have the option to film yourself and send it in for evaluation. Not once in the program did you express you were unhappy with the workouts or struggle with the exercise, which we would have provided guidance and helped you find the information you thought was lacking. Regarding the training, it wasn’t a circuit training we provided it was a superset as you were short on time. You needed quick effective workouts which we provided and were accurate for the results you were aiming for.


In the beginning of the review you said “My coach, Billy, was timely in responses and encouraging.” You have daily communication with your coach and this wasn’t brought up as a concern in the program, Billy being as caring as he is, he would have made sure not to miss anything.

I am happy to say, as my company has grown I do have more coaches spread around the world and this is the goal to match clients with the best personality match with their coach and location.

I looked into what happened as every client has an exit call and exit pack on how to maintain. Billy had accidentally archived your chat and wasn’t receiving your messages. I also couldn’t find where you asked next steps as Billy would have sent you the information explaining everything and setting up your exit call. I personally sent you a message but got no reply. We have extension programs for those wanting to continue. Throughout Billy was helping you fit this into your lifestyle which is part of the maintenance training. But I am extremely sorry your chat was accidentally archived and you didn’t receive your exit pack. Please message me back and I will get all the information you need over!

Overall I am glad you reached your goal that you were struggling with for a couple of years. We are constantly improving the program and user experience.

We did take all this information onboard and in the final migration for the new and improved system I've invested into. Female videos and streamlined. It was flawed in your opinion on the user face, but in terms of effectiveness this is what Billy responded with and how to get the most from your workouts. I missed that message you had sent him but thanks for the date stamp, I found it. He didn't say use the ladder app, he advised on how to get the most from the workouts and you replied saying you appreciate the feedback and his expertise (to which he got you to your goal 😜 lol).

I messaged you on whatsapp and via text saying

"Merry Christmas eveeeeee Bathany! I'm really concerned about your review, Billy wouldn't have intentionally left you hanging, and I would love to set up a call to make sure you have everything you need moving forward to maintain your results. When are you available?"

But I never heard back, and I don't really use email tbh. I still have the message I sent you.

Worked well for me!

Through this program I was able to lose the 10 lbs I had struggled to shed for about 1.5 years and also gain muscle. Shane was very professional and responsive and Coach Esin was absolutely amazing. Esin was so positive, flexible, responsive and knowledgeable. One thing I didn’t really expect was the significant impact on my inner voice. Through Esin’s consistent positivity, understanding, and encouragement, I noticed that my inner voice became more positive and loving. This alone would have been worth it.

My Experience with Coach Esin

What made this experience great? ESIN! She is simply amazing. The guidance, support and encouragement she gave me was wonderful and I looked forward to our check-ins as I always learned something new especially about non-scale victories. It has been liberating and eye-opening to view my health journey differently and not solely judging my success by a number on a scale. I owe all of this to Esin. Although I had some obstacles during our time (primarily an extremely demanding work schedule and a couple of injuries), the lessons I learned through the program and the insights Esin gave to me, will be with me for the rest of my life, and for that I am grateful.

Program works

I joined in late September as I needed to lose 10 pounds for my daughter’s wedding in mid November. My dress fit me tight 🥴 Not only did I lose 11 pounds, but I also lost inches and gained muscle. I had Coach PATTY and she is amazing . She kept me accountable and motivated. Honestly,I could not have done it without her and I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I fit into my dress comfortably and got so many compliments. I highly recommend this program, it works!
