Lovely fit and so comfy

So please with the fit ( went a size smaller) and feel comfy all day, even in a hot day. I loved my first 3 so much, I ordered another 3 so as I can wear everyday.

When I realised I made an error on my order, I contact the customer support. They dealt with the issue immediately and confirmed that this had been done.

I would definitely recommend to friends as the service I received was excellent.

A very worthwhile purchase

I bought 2 shapely bodysuits. They fit so beautifully, and certainly increase my confidence in wearing fitted garments. The bodysuits fit snuggly without being suffocating. I am very pleased with this purchase. Definitely worthwhile.

Placed an order 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for delivery. UPS have said there is a parcel waiting for delivery but I need to pay additional charges...I thought this was all calculated when placing the order. I've found it very difficult to contact anyone to ask about my order and still had no reply....At this moment intime I won't be using this company again and will be chasing a refund for non delivery at this rate.

Do not waste your money on this fraudulent 'company'.

I too was drawn in by the, at best, misleading Instagram ads, at worst, fraudulent advertising of Shapely. After weeks and weeks, I received dreadful quality garments that did not in any way align with the promises in the adverts or on the website. None of it was accurate, please don't waste your money.
If you, like me, were sucked in, then you'll likely have tried to return the items for a refund, as you are entitled to by law, and been told that their policy is exchange or store credit only 'due to hygiene issues'. Lol. Exchange does not resolve your cited 'hygiene issues'. It's purely an illegal policy that they hope you won't challenge so they can keep your money.
My story echoes almost all of those in Trustpilot - I asked for a refund, was told I could only have exchange or store credit, I told them this was not legal and I would like my refund please, they then stopped responding to emails. I kept emailing with no response. I then decided it would be best to just return the items whilst I continued the battle for my refund - they responded at this point but it took 3 or 4 emails where I requested the address to return the items to before they actually gave me the address. This is clearly a ploy to delay so customers miss the (also illegal) '14 day returns window'.
For others' use: the address I FINALLY got out of them was - 'Bella - Shapely, Unit D82 Pt2, The Old Bath House, Thorncliffe Business Park, Sheffield, S35 2PH, UK'. Make sure to track your return and keep the tracking number. They also told me to include a note with my order number, my full name, my email address, and to list the items I was returning.
Still, they told me I was only eligible for exchange or store credit. I informed them that this was against the law, and I would expect my refund within 14 days of them receiving the items back, as per law. I also let them know that if they still refused to do so, I would raise a dispute with my bank and retrieve the money that way. I can see that they're no stranger to bank disputes, so I reminded them that the outcome would be the same and it'd just be a hell of a lot more work for them :) I also screenshot the government website information around refunds that can be found on the government website (google search 'refund law UK').
I then chased regularly and gave them a deadline of today to receive my refund, otherwise I'd initiate the dispute with my bank. Low and behold, the refund has just appeared.
This has been probably the most stressful, ridiculous and frustrating online shopping experiences I've ever had. This is an awful, dodgy and unethical 'company'. Knowing my rights helped me stand my ground and so I really hope my experience helps reduce some stress for others.

I would highly recommend

So I ordered two of the medium body shapers, first off I was sceptical based off the reviews I read on here. And I had zero tracking information provided initially. After about a week, I emailed them. I received a response within 24 hours with an additional tracking link. I could see it had been picked up by royal mail and again I emailed asking for the tracking link for them, I received an immediate response advising they had requested it, but I received the item before they got back to me with the tracking. I ordered it on the 21st of June and received it this morning! So it's a bit of a wait but it came from china so that is to be expected. The item itself is lovely, I ordered a size down and it does what it is designed to do! I wore it today and felt very confident. The only downside is sadly the top half of my body is quite long so it doesn't sit right where my bikini line is which is sad but then I'm an awkward size, I do wish the body suit was a tad longer. I managed to fit a pair of jeans on that I was struggling to get on before I put the body shaper on! I would recommend this product, the customer service was excellent. And product itself is a solid 9/10 for me. Would buy from this company again.

And yeah I'm a real person, I live in Scotland and this is a genuine review :)

Shapely doesn't deliver

I ordered two shapewear back in May the 20th. It's 29 June and I still haven't received my order and when I track it , it says in transit since June 6. There has been no further updates since then. I've been emailing them back and forth with not satisfactory response. I don't recommend them at all.

Ordered on the 26th of May. Still nothing. If I ask to track they send me Chinese tracking.. really should have checked the reviews before I paid money. Didn’t even realise it is coming from China. They look like they are in Durban.

Comfortable and smoothing

Delivered in good time. Brought body suit. Sooo comfortable and holding everything in the right place. Tight getting on and I thought ' oh no too small! But I have now forgotten I am wearing it. Will definitely be looking at other items.

Cancellation NOT an option!!

I placed an order before reading the reviews on here and not properly checking the website. I decided to reply to my order email saying I wanted to cancel my order, which I did within less than an hour after ordering. The website has a nonsense policy saying that you can't cancel an order as they want to get it to you asap. Also, they say they can't give you a cash refund for returning an item as they are a small store. This is in total contravention of the Consumer Contracts Regulations. I think I now have a long road ahead of me unfortunately.

Suspicious actions around card payment

Tried to order, message to say my shopify code was wrong so had to use Apple Pay, payment refused but then I Got a suspicious looking text from ‘(my bank) fraud’ telling my I would get a text from a number with Instructions on how to respond to the failed attempt, quickly followed by a text from the number stating ‘ (My bank) Fraud Alert: Possible unauthorised transaction on card ending XXXX’ and then telling my to reply to stop my card from being blocked. Nothing on my banking app or online to say my card or account is at risk.

Absolutely rubbish product and horrible…

Absolutely rubbish product and horrible customer service. Bought a product in april, which i only managed to use this week and it broke as i tried to take it off. sent details to customer service who refused to do anything. There are cheaper and better alternatives available online and on the high streets. dont waste your time on this scam of a company.

This company isn’t diverse and takes photos of items in false lighting to make it look like it is!

For a company that does shapewear “with you in mind” just know that black women aren’t included. I bought their darkest photographed nipple colours and when they arrived they were a completely different shade and the colour of a tanned white woman. This was their darkest shade so their shade range is pathetic and they false advertised it to make it look darker. They said they are fully aware that different lighting can impact the colour of their items but that wasn’t their intention. I want to know how when the two colours are so far off. After showing them the pictures they said the item is correct because it has the right label.. the audacity! What arrived looks nothing like the photo and if it had done I never would have bought it. The best they could offer was a 20% discount to buy other products from their shop! Your shade range is rubbish, I’m not going to use a product I never would have bought in the first place. This is your fault, I want my money back because you can’t take your photos in accurate lighting!

Don't waste your money

Waited nearly 2 weeks to be disappointed. The shapewear smooths out slightly but bsolutely does not flatten anything as advertised. The crotch woth its hook and eye closure is very uncomfortable. Only keeping as its not worth paying for return delivery onto of losing money on these as they only refund in store credit. Incredibly disappointed and really wish I came here first as I wouldn't have ordered them.
