Customer service varies greatly depending on whom you get on the phone. I've had an account with this credit union for two years, but I'm shutting it down because I'm sick of encountering rude and hateful representatives (some have bordered on abusive) and the extreme inconvenience of their Fraud Department blocking my debit card because they suspect fraud, even when my purchases were not of a high dollar amount. Thankfully, I have another credit union debit card to fall back on, or else I could have been stranded in precarious situations, unable to purchase gas while traveling out of town or buy food without having to go through an interview with a bot to clear up a non issue. The fraud detection service has never been helpful! I will never use this credit union again.

I initially opened an account at Sharonview because one of my realtors recommended them. I was trying to get some financing for an investment property and was told that with a decent down payment they would likely provide some financing.

They told me they do not finance non owner occupied homes and that was about the extent of my communication with this bank. They did not seem interested in talking to me about any other financial products or services they offer and I felt like they could care less if I were a member or not.
