Very intereseting Fintech Startup with severe communication issues

Cons:

Almost no communication transparency left! The Telegram channel was shut down (the TG link on their website is dead and misleading since weeks), no monthly newsletter since December of 2018 as well as no more monthly market reports since November of last year. The team absolutely needs to ramp up their communication style since the SHP Token gets more and more useless and has already lost a significant amount of value (I´m an ICO investor).

Pros:

Very skilled team with offices in Hong Kong, London and Valencia. Their platform, Centuri, is a masterpiece and was already up and running in an early alpha version while the project was in ICO phase (2017). Since then, a lot of improvements were added even tho the release was initially planned for late 2018. Their HFT and GSI (Global Sentiment Index) are potential game-changers.

To conclude, I think it´s really time that the team steps up and does something about their ecosystem and the SHP token. I really hope that this development isn´t part of a bigger plan in order to drop the token and move on without it. The benefit of the doubt is still in Sharpe´s favor and I´ll give them time until the end of year to reevaluate my rating here on trustpilot and decide what consequences I´ll take.

Communication is key. You don´t need holding hands but a monthly update for your token holder is a must. Still, apart from this, you guys are doing an awesome job!! I´m still your fanboy.

The last few months were terrible

The last few months were terrible. No single deadline met, founders inaccessible and the list goes on. They don't seem to be able to automate basic processes on one hand, but claim on the other hand to work on a high frequency trading system (hft).

I really hope they get their act together and stick to their “ethos“.

Sharpe and it’s irregularities

Sharpe claims to pay you for your opinion on crypto and stock markets. To get paid you need to hold their token (SHP) and stake them on their platform, where you can make predictions on different assets.

They first started in early 2018 and paid out a ridiculous amount of money to their initial users. Since then the amount fell dramatically.

While they still pay you for now, the payouts are constantly delayed without any information. They recently closed their public telegram channel, abandoned their regular fund updates and got rid of their e-mail contact on their website, to make it harder to contact them and make important information less accessible.

The communicated timelines are not only ignored almost every time, the intransparent and discretionary payouts make it also impossible for consumers to understand the structure of the payouts.

Sharpe emerged into a suspicious and intransparent platform where the consumer definitely isn’t treated in a respectful manner and transparency is something you won’t find anywhere.
