Full service not received - wouldn’t recommend

Really didn’t want to do this review as the worktop fitting went ok and the team seemed nice to start.

We bought a slab of granite through Sharpstone for the worktop to be cut from. We chose Sharpstone because they said they were use the rest of the slab to make whatever we wanted (chopping boards, slabs for the garden etc) - this was agreed and we went ahead. Worktops were fitted in August, we’ve been chasing (WhatsApp, email, phone) since for the rest of the slab (£250+ worth) to be cut and delivered as we paid for. We had one response on 1st September saying they would do it but nothing since (3rd December now). Really disappointed after what felt like a good experience to start - wouldn’t recommend sadly.

Three men arrived 9 am

Three men arrived 9 am. All very cheerful and ecstatic. They immediately proceeded by removing the unwanted worktops. They did this whilst laughing and joking and was very loud. Me and my wife didn't expect them to be so quick and excited but we had planned to leave them to it and get out of there way because we live in a small bungalow. At about 11.30 am we had a phone call from one of them saying it's all done. At this time we were enjoying a cappuccino at a local coffee shop. We immediately came back home and instantly I looked around to see a lot of dust and mess lying around. They quickly said goodbye and off they went. This is when the nightmare started. I straight away noticed that they had damaged the underside of our kitchen unit carcasses because they had carelessly not removed the screws that were holding down the unwanted chipboard worktops and instead just ripped it up causing the damage. I immediately contacted the sales team and they apologised and agreed to have someone come back to look. Later that evening the nightmare got worse because I then noticed that I couldn't open the freezer door easily. This was because the new quartz worktop was slightly too long and had been forced in to position which had then forced over the carcass surround to the fridge/freezer. When I notified the sales about this problem they had started to change there attitude towards us and not being as nice and friendly as they was at the start. This all eventually finished after a long battle and frustration and the company gave us 10% of our money back with an agreement that we have no more rights.
