have been using product for the last year find if i use it before i add shaving gel i get a much closer shave and no shaving rash which i was always prone to

Been using King of Shaves products since 2001 and they are absolutely fantastic. Wasn't too keen on the new packaging, I preferred the see through tubes but I suppose we have to move with the times. Cannot recommend these products enough!! Cooling tingle with the shaving gel during and after the shave.

Had one for Xmas, i Used to have the old style white one with the Y shaped handle, loved it but this new one is awful!. Handle is too slim and twists around in your hand when using, the blade system is over engineered and performs no better than my cheap 3 blade Gillett , and the Gel, my god better off using just soap.
Will be going back to my Gillette

Sensitive shave oil ..horrible product...ruins razor blades and messes up skin with spots and irritation i'd rather stick to Palmolive shaving soap..wasted £2 even after like 15/20 years still product sucks no wonder it went under and still struggling

It’s the best shave product I’ve ever used. You don’t really need any product after using it and you can put a light coat of shave creams over the top if you’re really going overboard. I’ve tried other oils, rubbish in comparison, use it with a blade, use electric, on your face or your skull. All good with Kings. We lost it here in Australia after Brexit, covid whatever the reason was but she’s back baby and I’m stoked. I just picked up a clearance sale at $6 a bottle so bought 30 of them so as not to get caught out again! The bottles are small but it lasts well, having said that I am not a super hairy dude (face or skull lol) so I don’t shave everyday. If you had a thick beard and shave everyday it could get up there in price, but not compared to other oils.

I decided to buy King of Shaves ‘Shave Oil’ as it was small and compact as I was traveling abroad and needed to travel light. As I had liked their shaving creams, not to be confused with this shave oil, in the past. The oil was useless, the blade failed to run over my face smoothly, as happens when I use regular shaving cream. Very disappointed with the product. Waste of money.

I use King of Shaves shaving oil every time I shave. Applied before any quality shaving gel it improves the easy of shaving and the result - smooth with no missed hairs or bits that aren't quite smooth.

I have used King of Shaves for several years now. I do a lot of travelling so it doesn’t take up any space or weight. It gives me a smooth comfortable shaving experience with a nice finish and I prefer it to regular foams or gels.

I am from Australia and very happy to have this great treasure in my drawer. well done

Purchased Advanced Sensitive Shave Oil as an alternative to shaving gel to go on holiday. Found the product very disappointing - did not soften stubble,
did not leave a smooth finish. It is by no means a cheap option, and to add insult to injury it leaves an oily residue in the wash-hand basin. Won’t repeat.

It is so far ahead of any of the other brands, having a very easy to use dispenser for the oil that leaves your skin feeling fresh and supple after use. I travel a lot and also find the 30ml bottle is ideal to pack into a toilet bag. Having used it for a number of years now I am more than pleased with the quality of the product. I order on line and get a very quick and efficient service, long may it continue.

Smooth & comfortable shaving oil, for all types of skin, really recommended

Have been using no foam 2-in-1 shaving cream for a while now. first time bought it from Waitrose sadly Waitrose no longer stock this. on the positive side Order on line. Fast delivery therefore not such an inconvenience. Product is absolutely fabulous and dare I comment my preference to the gel products from King of Shaves. But then it's all a matter of personal preference.

Some time ago King of Shaves lotion disappeared from our usual supermarket shelves. Thankfully l recently rediscovered it in a town-centre toiletries and household goods outlet. No other product I've tried over the last few years comes close to this one.

I find the King of Shaves blades to be of vastly inferior quality to Gillette -my preferred brand. I guess they are cheaper but I feel it is a false economy as they do not give a quality close shave and do not last as long as other brands. I have confined mine to a draw as back-ups for an emergency.

I have been conned and misled by King of Shaves.
I bought into their reuse program where one could buy aluminium refillable containers to help the environment.
I bought two one for home and one for my travel wash bag and all was going well until they decided to stop making the refills.
So I’ve paid the best part of £12 for some containers I can’t use again as the refills have been discontinued.

I’d avoid them and their products are they are clearly untrustworthy.

Amazing product…

I cannot believe I have only just tried king of shaves shaving gel. I will never look back at any other shaving brand again this truly the king of shaves. No irritation, leaves skin smooth and silky. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Price has blown up to £5 for 175ml of Shave gel. I've been using this product for over a decade but now it's reached a price I'm no longer happy to pay. I've just switched to Erasmic Shave Gel which shaves and looks exactly the same and is £1.25 for 100ml.

I bought their refillable can to reduce my plastic footprint and yet now they appear to have stopped selling the refills. Very disappointed
