After watching some old YouTube vids to bring me back up to speed, I saw Lyle with his credit card size Timing Card, and I did a quick search and found ShavenRaspberry. They've got loads of useful tools for navigating safely on their site. Prices are good and delivery also. Well worth a visit again.

The Chinagraph pencils arrived on time
The Chinagraph pencils arrived on time. I was wanting them to write on a laminated sheet that could possibly have water splashes in it. Having read they would write on wet laminate, I purchased them. They did indeed write on the laminated sheet when it was both wet and dry - no problem there. But I found that if I picked up the sheet and a finger or thumb accidentally touched the area I had written on, it smudged or wiped the chinagraph writing off, so I had to revert to a waterproof marker and small towel to dry the sheet each time I needed to add something. The idea was great but just didn’t quite work for what I wanted to use it for.

Simple but accurate navigation cards
I bought some Grid Reference/Romer cards and some Timing cards to hand out at a Beginners Navigation Training day. They are hard wearing credit card sized cards which are simple to use and yet provide accurate results.
