Wow, what a course, stunning venue with amazing people Clear relevant instruction, practical sessions and lots of discussions about what we hoped to get from course. Both Charlotte and Abi are inspirational women and l couldn’t recommend it more.
A fantastic workshop! The hands on, practical approach to basic DIY tasks was perfect. I now feel confident I can tackle all those little jobs around the house that have been waiting for my attention. Thank you Matt and SheCan!
Really enjoyed the day with Matt - full of information and gave me confidence that I will be able to use a drill for all those pending jobs! The hits and tips on decorating were also great and will definitely be putting those into practice

Venue great - parking available. Small class of 6 which was good. Really enjoyed the day and I feel confident to be able to put curtain rails, pictures up etc which is what I wanted and I now know what tools are actually for :)
Lovely group of like minded people and I didnt feel uncomfortable considering I didnt even know how a drill worked.
Instructor was relaxed and informative. Only downside is we didn't get a chance to make anything to take home but I think that was because we ran out of time at the end of the day. Only a minor detail. I would definitely recommend shecando courses - I am considering investigating the retreat idea - what a good idea. Thanks Gerry and everyone who attended that day for making it a fun experience and not as terrifying as I thought it was going to be.

A great day and intro to DIY
Being a complete beginner and knowing nothing about DIY, Matt was super helpful and a great teacher. He was patient, and explained everything so well without being condescending. We learned how to drill holes into wood, brick and tile, hang paintings, fix holes and an intro to grouting, caulk and silicone. I feel confident enough now to try things out at home and not rely on others to do small jobs.

A full-on day with lots of practical demonstrations, professional tips and tricks of the trade. Matt explained everything clearly, answered a myriad of questions patiently, and we covered a lot of ground within the time frame. Matt made the day hugely enjoyable, and I now have no excuse not to get pictures onto the wall without creating numerous wrongly placed drill holes! A must-do course for would-be DIYers. Thanks Matt

Having done this course I am now questioning why it’s taken me so long to get to grips with drill! I did the one day course with Matt who brought with him so much patience and knowledge. He happily made allowances for our constant interruptions with 101 questions and gave time for to help cover the jobs we were interesting in nailing around the home. Such a worthwhile day, I will be going back to gain some more in-depth skills - tiling, I’m looking at you!
