I pulled 15,000 videos in hours and launched 2 websites in 1 day
After having an incredible experience with migrating numerous websites from the dreadful, troublesome and exhausting WordPress to the lean, clean and easy-to-use Google Sheets-powered website builder Sheetany starting in spring 2025, I was excited to see what founder Richard came up with in Sheetfetch.
I had no prior experience in using such a tool except in very limited use cases such as leveraging an AI tool to pull metadata from a single YouTube video at a time.
Today, I got going with Sheetfetch, and, let me tell, it blew me away! I pulled just shy of 15,000 videos and wound up creating one website (with about 10,000 videos) and a subdomain for another website (with about 5,000 videos). I was stunned at how quickly Sheetfetch was able to pull data and how powerful this software is.
When you build websites using Sheetany's wide-ranging templates, including a video template, it is fast and easy to turn Sheetfetch data into a Sheetany video website. The only main issue I faced was in dealing with lots of emojis and special characters in video titles. This isn't a fault with Sheetfetch but just something to look out for. I am leveraging Text Workflow on Mac to help me clean up URLs.
Sheetfetch does much more than pull YouTube data, as it has connections to PayPal, Stripe, LemonSqueezy, Shopify, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Notion and so much more. I have yet to take a spin in these lanes.
In the past 15 months, I have been very vocal with Richard about my wide-ranging needs for Sheetany, as I have encouraged him to introduce many features. Although Richard might've intended Sheetany to be a simple-to-use no-code website builder, I have found it's suited for power publishers as well, and the rollout of feature after feature have made the platform all the more powerful. What I'm getting at here is that Richard listens to feedback and makes enhancements.
If you invest in Sheetfetch, you can bet your feedback will be reviewed and possibly implemented.
Here's hoping that Richard and the team behind Sheetfetch continue to shape this incredibly powerful tool for a long time to come. Here's also hoping that Sheetfetch can open all kinds of doors for your software, marketing, website, CRM and other needs.
