Today I’ve witnessed an incident which happened on the Shell station in Wisbech.
The customer was talking on his phone while filling his car. He was politely asked by the worker to not use his phone due to Shell’s health & safety policy. In response, the customer became aggressive, started arguing and calling the cashier a “TW@T”. He wouldn’t stop verbally abusing and insulting the worker. He then threatened the worker that he will put a complaint on him.
This happened today, on 15th of July. The worker’s name is Kam.
I use this petrol station daily and I’ve known Kam for a while. He is a very kind, polite, friendly and helpful person. In this situation the customer was completely inadequate and Kam did his best to handle it. If this customer puts a complaint, do NOT believe what he says.
