Awful awful awful product, complete false advertising. I ordered the Ruby set and the colours were NOTHING like advertised in the pictures. When using them the colours were patchy and dull. When removed (straight away!) They left my nails terribly stained. Do not purchase these, you will be disappointed! I should have read reviews first!!

Don’t buy these pens! Glorified felt tip markers which not only don’t stay on but then leave your nails badly stained. Two emails requesting a refund not answered. Took the pens to my nail tech friend today and she and her colleague agreed these were nothing more than a gimmick. She also pointed out that the 5 star reviews on the website were all dated the same!! She also managed to buffer the staining out - her neat acetone didn’t budge it!

I was looking forward to using these pens, the colours looked great and easy to use. On arrival the colours indicated on the pens were not what was in the pens. Full, watery colours nothing like the colours I ordered. I applied a bright pink pen which came out in a watery red colour. Carried on and glossed them, this was in the evening. Only watched TV that evening, by the morning they were full and the tips of my fingers were losing their polish! Dreadful, do not buy!!! Spend your £30 on some normal varnish.
Contacted customer service but not heard back yet.

I was excited to get these, colours looked amazing! Cheap, dull insipid colours that all looked similar, nothing like advertised. So so disappointed!! Stained my nails and skin and was very difficult to get off! Don't bother buying!! Wish I had checked here first.
UPDATE I have received a reply from their customer services today and received a full refund, so can'tfaultthem on this. Hopefully they can work on improving their colours and product!!

Awful product. Cheap and nasty. Colours are dreadful and when applied goes brown and blotchy. Removed immediately but has left me with awfully stained nails and cuticles. All the reviews on their own website must be false. Wish I'd had the sense to see that this was a scam and read these reviews before purchasing. I've asked for a refund but not holding my breath.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The colours do not look anything like what the pictures show.
When the top coat is applied the colours just turn into a mucky brown colour. I only applied mine for a few minutes to ‘test it out’. My fingers and nails ended up stain even after such a short period of time. I’ve requested a refund but I’m not hopeful. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

UPDATE - The company have replied to my complaint and, without hesitation, have issued a full refund. As much as the product did not live up to expectations, I cannot fault the customer service.

Colours are not as described. Difficult to apply. Takes several coats and is very dark.

(UPDATE: shinegalore contacted me and offered a refund as well as a free sample for their upcoming formula as an apology, I really appreciate the customer service on this!)

I don't ever really paint my nails because I'm too messy with it, so I thought I'd give this a shot and bought the 3 for 2 deal for £60. took absolutely ages to arrive and when it did, I swear the colours don't even match what I ordered. at least half of them have the same red colour while the other half were either really weak or basically black. they have numbers on but it would've helped for these numbers to be displayed with a key anywhere on their website. I also belatedly found out that I had at least two of the same colour so I'm not sure what happened there.

as for usage, I can't really compare it to normal nail polish but it did start flaking off the day after even though I followed the little guide thing.

Wish I had read reviews first. All I can say is cheap and nasty. Seriously stick with your regular nail polish. You need three coats and it isn't that easy to apply. Colour changes with topcoat to some sort of 80s neon pink. Take ages to arrive and really shouldn't cost more than a fiver. Unfortunately they are sending another one because the first one was bought as a gift bit chucked over garden fence in the rain. I dont want the replacement as I don't want to gift it. Edited to note that customer service have been extremely good and issued a full refund with no hassle at all. I will be testing a new formula for them soon and hopefully I will be able to upgrade my review a little.

Complete con artists. Rubbish produce that didn't even last one day before chipping. Top coat didn't even make nails shine. Dull and cheap looking.
Can't believe I was fooled by the advertisement. Don't do the same -£29.99 down the drain.

I cannot understand those who are leaving 5 star reviews!? Very confused. I have followed instructions, sealed properly etc but these are cheap and I feel cheated lol. I need to stop getting excited over adverts on Instagram. Can't get a refund as clearly a dodge company...(to those who represent ShineGalore...karma will prevail! Taking people's money and giving them a shocking product that's not worth more than a pack from the poundshop). I'd love to upload a photo of my nails to show how crap this is but not sure if there is a way to do that here.

The pens are water-based and don't have harmful chemicals, so just a little advised that if you get one of these, please make sure that you seal the edges properly, otherwise, they'll peel off right away. Just make sure to follow the video instructions properly, especially the sealing (the most important part) I sealed it properly and it lasted almost a week and it's very easy to re-apply! Moreover, Customer Service is fantastic!!!! <3

Seriously don’t buy! Stains your nails after 1 day, light pink coloured!
It is easy to apply but doesn’t last longer than a day and night. Pale to apply 1 coat so def need 2 but would not use them again - do not recommend!

These are an absolute waste of money. Followed the instructions to a tee, 3 coats and sealed with a topcoat, and they have washed off within a couple of hours. Stick to polish!

After taking nearly a month to arrive I can honestly say they were NOT worth the wait. They go on like felt pens and leave stripes and dry a bit like chalk. Unless you have false nails on they are impossible not to get on your skin as you do the edges. My advice..don't bother.

Really happy with the way this company handled my complaint.
Wasn't keen on the product as i felt it washed off too easily but I was offered a full refund.

Totally rubbish, package had leaked, one doesn’t work and the one I put on was horrendous nothing professional about it. Doesn’t come off easy fingers look stained. Save your money and just don’t bother

Do not use this company. Absolutely appalling service.
I made an order on 5th June and there's still no sign of it.
No way of contacting them. I wish to god I'd done some more research before ordering. When the advert popped up in social media the reviews were great - however independent reviews give the real picture Absolutely dire.

Took ages to arrive considering they are in the uk.

Communication was good though and they did apologise.
