Ship Camps is a big scam

Ship Camps claimed my bags were oversized when they weren’t. They said that they weren’t going to charge me extra and they did. I had to file a complaint with the credit card company.

Damaged trunk

Original post: For the amount of money this cost, I was pretty disappointed to see it dumped by FedEx covered in damage. I reached out to Ship Camps and got an auto email about filing a claim, which I have now done. But not much on the customer service. We had just purchased a really nice brand new trunk and I assumed Ship Camps provided care in shipping.

Updated: I was told that I would be receiving reimbursement for the damaged trunk. Filing the form was very time consuming (I spent over an hour taking the right pictures and gathering the right screenshots etc). So while I am still disappointed in the quality of service provided, and would have preferred a non damaged trunk & not having to spend an hour filing my claim & not needing to know order a new trunk and dispose of the damaged one, I am happy with the resolution given the circumstances.

Soaked Trunks

Despite having two covered porches in the front of my house, delivery dropped 5 trunks off on the side of my house with no coverage and it rained and now my trunks are soaking wet and I have to wash the entire contents of them.
