Purchased a pair of bearpaw boots for…

Purchased a pair of bearpaw boots for my daughter on 11/16 for pickup in the Greendale,WI store. When I arrived at the store on 11/17/21 the sales associate couldn’t find my order at all in the system. The assistant manager Nicole came over to assist him and automatically said oh that order was cancelled (without looking at my online receipt). I asked when and what time because I never received an email or call stating that. She said at 10:00 am (it was 11:37 am) I asked for proof that it was cancelled and asked refund process she didn’t know any of that information and said she couldn’t provide it because their system doesn’t work like that. So I asked for the corporate number because what she is telling me isn’t sounding too accurate. The number she gave me was customer service instead. I spoke with two different customer service reps that told me Nicole actually placed my order on back order and placed the order on reserve for an employee. The representative told me that the store had the shoes and should have been fulfilled to come to me, but Nicole chose to place my order or back order. I go back in the store the tell Nicole what I was told she tells me that’s not the truth, but customer service isn’t lying either. I said computers don’t lie so if you placed them on back order then that’s what happened that is why I never received an cancellation email because you never cancelled the order. Nicole then proceeds to tell me that they can hold item(s) for employees for 2 weeks or until pay day. I said oh so even if customers pay for them you guys can just hold on inventory she said yes. Unfortunately the district manager reaches out to me to only tell me she’s sorry I had this issue and to come back the store manager would assist me. Now, why would I come back if this is your policy I may not ever get the items I want if your employees can take the online purchase because they want them. There is no accountability for what she has done even though the customer service reps were extremely apologetic and said it’s not their policy it appears the staff at the greendale location doesn’t feel the same. So for the people who are having their orders cancelled or back ordered this may be one of the reasons why so just be aware I would just order bearpaw directly from them and skip shoe carnival due to its policies regarding fulfilling orders.

Ordered size 11 shoes for men that are…

Ordered size 11 shoes for men that are orange and black they sent size 4 year old baby shoes and then acted suprised that i wanted my money back or the shoes i ordered. The then numb skulls sent the wrong pair of shoes again the second time. Never again will i shop from them

I have had Asic's for over ten years

I have had Asic's for over ten years. The shoes sold to me by shoe carnival did not have the same footbed as any of my previous pairs of Asics. I dont think the are real Asics; they apear to be fakes. Would never order from shoe carnival again.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered 1 pair of shoes. They duplicated my order and charged me. I’ve made several calls to get a return label and I never receive it. I checked junk and spam….nothing. I called yesterday and they agreed to refund my money. I received $6 of $63. I called today and now they say they will not refund until they get shoes. They still have not sent me a return label. I will never order anything from them again!!!!

Did a Google search and also came up on…

Did a Google search and also came up on Facebook (go figure) for these particular booties. They were advertised $20 less than the website so I inquired with the company. That got me nowhere and they refused to honor the price that was advertised despite having a picture of the ad.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! Called in 2 separate times, only to be hung up on both times. Never received an email or notification that my shoes weren’t going to be delivered, until I sent an email and then they told me they have no idea when they will ship.
I totally understand supply chain disruption. I wouldn’t even have written this review if I had just gotten decent customer service via e-mail or on the phone to help me with my order. Still waiting on hold for the 3rd time on the phone this evening…. Never mind. That was the 3rd time I was hung up on. They picked up the phone after waiting around 7 minutes and then hung up.

Wish I could leave zero stars

Wish I could leave zero stars. Ordered some items for my granddaughter birthday they only shipped half of the order to begin with then when I called back to find out where the rest of the order was I was told it would be shipped out that day and they were so sorry for the delay. After another week and tracking not updated I called back only to find out that now the items I had ordered were no longer available and they would not price match for a similar item. They have lost a customer over $30.

Terrible company

If there's a place for no stars I pick that. Awful customer service. Don't want to help you track or even call to find out where your stuff is. Day 7 and my package has been to two places in Chicago then to Tennessee and now North Carolina? I called customer service first lady hung up on me second one no help supervisor didn't know crap. Won't use them again.

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes. Sneakers thrown in bottom of box worn. Other pair box wet shoes smelled called customer service. No help. Went to store clerk said these are wet cant take these back. Showed her my delivery was within the hour and thats how they came to me. She said sneakers have been worn cant take thise back. I turned and threw both pais in their trash.

Customer service says you can have a refund but needs shoes back 3 days later. This is after I told them I threw the shoes in the stores trash.

I filed a consumer complaint.

Don't get any shoes from this company

Don't get any shoes from this company, I bought two pairs and they both was used pair. Plus, they want you to sent it back via ups, but ups doesn't take the Nike box and you would need to purchase another one with your own money. I had two returns and they both came back used

Worst purchase eveeerrrrr!!! Customer service is useless. My 2 year could be a representative at shoe carnival. Ridiculous shipping time. And you get the run around on when they will arrive. So needless to say DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on this jock of a store.

Placed a order online says the shoes are available in store!!! Called the store lady had a nasty attitude. So then i call customer service and the lady tells me that the shoes are on back order!!! Like omg this is crazy and stupid. Better off going in the stores to pick out shoes smh!!!

Ok so I have to say I did get my shoes…

Ok so I have to say I did get my shoes and they came in quick but there's one problem they left the security tag on there and I couldn't take it off so I drove to a shoe carnival that was pretty far away to see if they can help me get the anti-theft tag off and they couldn't do it so I had to exchange it for shoes that I didn't want so be aware that if you order online you may get the anti-theft tag and your local shoe carnival won't have the right tools to take it off beware.

Shoe Carnival actually surprised me

Shoe Carnival actually surprised me with their customer support services. I bought a pair of shoes for work (Skechers) and the loops for the laces detached from the shoe after wearing them for a week or so. I contacted customer service and sent them a picture of the shoes and they are in a process of sending me out a new pair of the same shoes. Due to the fact I feel that there should be a recall on the shoe itself (The Fannter), I was hoping to be able to get a different pair, but their policy only allow them to send the same style of shoe. I'm just relieved that they made good on their business by sending me out a new pair. I would definitely recommend shopping through Shoe Carnival as they have great deals. However, I would not recommend purchasing the shoe listed above especially if you have an active lifestyle. (The Sketcher Fannter)

Avoid Shoe Carnival if you want customer service

I ordered shoes online and went to pick them up. It was a 35 minute drive, but that was the closest store. Meanwhile, the really bad weather hit; it was hailing, wind howling, and heavy, heavy rain plummeting down. I ran through all that with a printed receipt that showed my name, the purchase, and the card I had used. I also brought the credit card, just in case.
Shoe Carnival has no online pickup designated spot, so I had to wait in line, all wet. When I finally got to the window, the girl refused to give me my shoes. I showed her the printed receipt and the credit card that I had used for the purchase. She said I had to go back outside and get a drivers license. Why? I'm not driving the shoes home! I went back out into the deluge and got my drivers license. I was hit by hail pellets and was soaking wet and dripping on the store carpet. The cashier didn't even look at my license! She just pushed the shoes at me and said, "Have a nice day." Are you kidding? I'm soaking wet for no reason and you are being sarcastic? There is a manager who just stands on this pulpit-like thing and observes; instead of helping customers, he just stands there like God and watches. I will never, EVER buy shoes from Shoe Carnival again. Horrible experience

The worst possible customer service

The worst possible customer service. They are selling shoes taking your money and then coming up with excuses about why they can't ship them yet ..only to find out the shoes aren't in inventory. This has happened twice and they played games for three weeks keeping my money and then recharging me again over memorial day weekend only to send an email saying the order is cancelled it took another 4 days and 5 calls to supervisors to get the gold released on my funds. They make promises they can't and won't keep and although they have a clear shipping policy that states 24 to 48 hours to process then 3 to 7 says for delivery to this is a lie as I ordered another pair for my son on the 28th and they are still being processed and it is 6 days later after phone calls to customer service I am told they cannot cancel the order or tell me when I will get it!!!!! The absolute worst service I have ever seen. Shopped in person for years they have lost this customer permanently in person or online.

Horrible customer service when it comes to exchange or return.

I am a first time shopper at shoe carnival and sadly the experience was really terrible. It is all good when you don’t have any issue with your merchandise. However if you are to exchanging for a different size, I swear they don’t let you do so.... all they do is a fake promise of sending you a return label which never deliver is the case. I checked all my trash and spam emails. They never came as promised and then when you called they are having a system issues. I guess I’m stuck with three pairs of shoes that are too small, will be donating them. It’s over a month and the return label is still being work on. So I would just said lesson learned, this will be my first and last time of shopping at this place.... and I’m sure will spreading the experience with my friends and family so they won’t have to go through the same.
