Shoes look nothing like picture and the company is giving me a hard time in returning the shoes. About to start a claim with pay pal and see if that gets me anywhere.

-10 STARS SHOEMEHONEY website!!

-10 STARS SHOEMEHONEY website!!
I would not buy anything from this company, I bought boots in January of 2020 I'm still dealing with them in August of 2020. I have been trying to get my money back after sending the boots back by certified mail. Also the customer service is a joke and not helpful at all, the company does not care about anything as far as customer service goes. The boots were junk nothing like the picture, they have my shoes and they have my money!! I will never purchase anything off of a website again unless, I first read the reviews. I lost a good chunk of money!

"All Sales final" items really are Buyer Beware with this website...

I have bought 3 pairs of shoes from Shoeme.

The first pair were a pair of flips that were too uncomfortable to wear.

The second were boots from a brand I already own, and they fit fine -- happy with this purchase.

The last were a pair of shoes that Shoeme lists the fit as "fits true to size" however, the size is larger than my foot by at least a size and a half (about an inch gap in the heel). Since Shoeme doesn't allow user reviews, people can't post their fitting experience, so you need to rely on the description of fit provided by the website. When no returns are allowed, Shoeme should make sure the fit is as advertised, this is a very big difference in fit.

My fault for buying a "no returns" sale item and trusting the site's description, but I had bought from them before without issue. Shoeme is being a little dishonest by dumping items on consumers as "sale" items, but with an "all sales final" stipulation.

I will never buy from them again unless I try on the item in a store first, their description cannot be trusted.

Buyer Beware

Buyer beware. Shoeme.ca is the most dishonest company on the internet.
Their prices are the most inflated you will see for shoes on the internet. When they advertise a sale, it’s only a gimmick. Case in point:
On Sunday August 14, 2016 they advertised Rockport shoes on sale. We ordered from them. We received the following email message from Shoeme.ca:

Hello,
We apologize but we have just received word from our supplier that the Rockport Women’s Tristina – Ebano / 8 / M is no longer available. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause. Unfortunately we cannot fulfill your original order, but we gladly offer the following options:
1. You can switch to a different Rockport style than your current item.
2. You can switch a different brand all together.
3. You can receive store credit for a future purchase.
4. We can refund you for the item in full.
Please respond and advise as to how you would like to proceed with your order. Again, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience, but also thank you for your understanding. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please note that if we do not receive a response by 2016-08-27, your order may be subject to cancellation.
Kind regards,
Sounds good. Right? Option #2: “You can switch a different brand all together”. Fat chance. We agreed to accept another pair. They wanted more money. How much more? For a shoe that costs below $200 they wanted $864. Following is our reply:

Hello Style & Care Team,

First, this shoes cost as low as $185 American dollars.

You always inflate the prices on your website and then you offer a discount which brings down the price to a price that is still higher than other websites. Finally, when you advertised a sale that sounded good, you don’t want to honor your advertisement. On top of this you replied giving us four options and when we chose one of those options, you also refuse to honor your word that you put in your email to us.

We really think that people who shop on the internet should be aware of how you conduct your business. Something similar happened to our friends when they shopped on the internet from the Bay and they received $200 compensation and of course a refund of their attempted purchase.

We bought six pairs from you on the same day that we ordered the pair of shoes which you are saying are unavailable. This is how you treat your customers? We are willing to accept a compensation for the bad service that took place here. Otherwise, we will simply advertise everywhere on social media the content of email messages that you sent us and we will let the customers decide if they should shop at your website. And if this does not convince you to give us appropriate service then we will figure out legal options. Nothing would make us happier than settling this matter with you without having to go through all this process.

Thank you,

Here is their response:

Hello,
The matter is settled.
We have chosen to refund based on your unwillingness to follow our exchange rules.
Kind regards,
Patrick R
