Poor online returns service

Purchased online but upon returning item with 14 days of delivery, I was informed online purchases have to be returned in-store within 10 days. The 14 days return policy only applies to returns by post. Under EU regulations customers have 14 days to return items purchased online. Store was closed over the Christmas period and this was not taken into account by the store. I am a regular shopper in Shoe Rack but this is my first online experience. Very disappointed with the service.
