Given their rating on Google reviews, I thought this was the right choice.
Unfortunately the flower selection was rather limited. The £45 bunch of flowers didn't meet our expectations despite the good service.
I don't think we will order from them again.
Original owner was pleasant & knowledgeable. Sadly the shop appears to be under new management, the rudest, laziest, least welcoming reception & interaction I’ve had while shopping in recent years. Manager couldn’t be bothered taking her eyes off paperwork & engaging, could not answer a straight question about deliveries (yeah but no but yeah) and flatly told me ‘it’s not her problem’ when I asked for help/suggestions for refilling a pottery vase whose plant had died (bought there some time ago). As I walked out of the shop I saw exactly the time of plant I needed stacked and sold separately without the vase. I needed a few plants urgently ahead of the arrival of some guests but this is the very last time I will spend any money there despite this being my local florist. I can’t help wondering - as people’s finances seem set to worsen and plants are hardly an essential item - how the new manager plans to stay in business if she is determined to treat her dwindling clientele so antagonistically. Zero stars from me.
The owner is really lovely and the quality good. It is let down by the rudeness and offhand manner of one of the shop workers who clearly isn’t a people person or interested in making you feel that your custom is of value. Get the distinct impression she would rather not welcome customers back after lockdown!
