I have owned a Rage 3S chop saw for about 8 years. Only now does the blade need replacing! My only criticism is the difficulty of undoing the blade lock nut. It takes a 35mm pin spanner to unlock it.

Updated situation

Not the best of starts , Gazebo canopy had issues….after pictures and number of Emails sent and with No reply I thought I’d been ripped off ……BUT all credit to Evolution after nearly a month of waiting I received a email saying new Gazebo being sent what I received the day after ……..so thank you to Evolution but all we ask is better communication ……

Great piece of kit for my table saw.

Great piece of kit for my table saw.
Wish there was an option when you buy the saw which is great piece of kit by the way.
The zero clearance plate fits great and easy to install.
If you do get stuck you always have YouTube for

Spare parts easily identified and available.

I contacted Evolution staff seeking parts to repair my R255 SMS Mitre Saw, the reply was fast, efficient and informed, the Lady who replied was knowledgeable, very courteous and very helpful. I am really satisfied with the service I experienced.

Don’t believe delivery dates - very poor service

Ordered a clamp on 7th April. Tracking said collected from them on 8th. Still waiting on 14th despite chasing and being advised a delivery time. Should pay for a proper delivery service that can be relied on

Recently purchased the Evolution R255…

Recently purchased the Evolution R255 TBL+ table saw based upon independent reviews. Quite honestly I wonder how I managed without this tool for so many years. It is a pure joy to use and the accuracy of cuts is amazing. One of my favourite features is the rack and pinion fence which is spot on. I will probably build my on sled rather than use the slide for mitre cuts but that is just a personal choice. Great piece of kit.

Pleased so far…

Purchase was straightforward and dispatched same day for next day delivery
Unfortunately DX decided to split the consignment and delivered the wacker next day but the block protector 3 days later but no fault of Evolution
The device has been great
Followed the advice of other reviews and used within it’s capabilities and it does the job well

excellent customer service

I lost the filter cap for my evolution wet and dry vacuum. I called customer services on 9/3/26 they said they would send one out free of charge, it arrived 13/3/26

Don't if you need tools urgent!

If you urgently need tools, do yourself a favour and don’t order from them.
I ordered on Thursday for guaranteed Friday delivery. I even emailed them the same day just to double-check — they confirmed in writing that it would arrive the next day. Perfect, right?
Wrong.
Friday comes, and suddenly I get an alert saying the order is “running behind.” Then another email telling me it will now arrive on Monday. Fantastic — especially when I needed it first thing Saturday morning.
I paid more than other websites purely because they advertised next-day delivery. Turns out that “next day” apparently means “whenever we feel like it.”
Big promises. Very low effort.

Shocking customer service

This was the second order I placed with Evolution who claim next business day delivery. On both occasions this was not the case and to make matters worse, when you contact the company via email they do not reply. The first order was 3 days late and the second was 6 days late with no notification of when it would arrive. They will also tell you that you must sign for the delivery but having wasted two days off waiting for a delivery to arrive I found it dumped in my porch without a signature. Then I found out the driver stated they had handed it to me!
My second delivery was several days late so I emailed twice over a period of 3 days asking what was going on and received no reply. In fact, I have now had my goods for 5 days, sent another polite email yesterday asking why they never replied and at the time of writing this review I have still had no reply, let alone an apology, complete disdain for a customer, shocking.
The products are actually OK but the delivery and customer service are awful. Unless you don't care when your order arrives I would avoid purchasing from this company.

Fabulous After Care even though fault…

Fabulous After Care even though fault was with me entirely! The saw was collected and taken to headquarters only to find, it's a left hand thread and nothing at all wrong with it! Michelle from Customer Services has the patience of a saint! Thank you!

Great Aftercare

I made a purchase of R210SMS+mitre saw 2 years ago and, due to unforeseen circumstances, only got to set the saw up this month! I found the thread where the blade is located, to be damaged. Customer Services staff member was excellent, (MIchelle), who, after gathering lots of necessary information, sent a courier to me to collect it for mending as it is still within it's 3 year warranty. A great service, to be fair. I have other items, ie a circular and reciprocating saw, both fantastic tools and not a crazy price.

Poor customer service and they don’t care

Bought a brand new mitre saw but received a saw that had obviously been a return as the blade had been used and the saw had sawdust all over it, the bolt for assembling the cable tidy was missing as was the Allen key for assembly. Evolution offered to refund me £12 but reduce the warranty from 3 years to 90 days, I now have to wait in all day Monday for it to be returned a further inconvenience. Evolution do not care about their customers and the staff couldn’t be less interested
