Panasonic NN-ST23QM is overpriced rubbish

I have bought a Panasonic NN-ST23QM microwave, paying about 70% more than a basic model, hoping it would be a quality product. The membrane switches are VERY small so it's difficult to use them. Timing is only in multiples of 10, so if you want 9 minutes, it's frustrating to set up. The compartment is quite small, especially height, and condensation MUST be wiped out after heating liquids as the ventilation is virtually non-existent. Virtually no instructions are provided - unless you use a smart phone and can scan the QR code - but who wants to read a manual on a phone screen anyway? I wanted it as a replacement for my previous Onn brand oven which is still working, but the membrane keypad is almost worn out. By comparison, this one is really poor ergonomically and I can't recommend it. If it hadn't been used, I'd be looking for a refund!

Panasonic is one of the worst companies…

Panasonic is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I bought a razor with a charging station in April of last year. the charging station often doesn't work anymore and I reached out to Panasonic in November. First they told me to contact a third party, I did, the third party doesn't deal with shavers. Then they told me it was approved for an exchange and for me to go to Best Buy. I did, and Best Buy told me they do not have a manufacturer's warranty program with Panasonic, but would perform the exchange if Panasonic would give them a reference number. Panasonic refused, then they told me they would handle the exchange themselves and for me to send them a video of the unit not charging. I did. They said they did not get it, and to make sure it was under 20MB, I told them it was 10.1MB. I asked for them to give me a way to send the video, they refused. I sent them pics of the unit in perfect condition. They needed the video. Finally they told me that they are refusing the exchange because the pic does abuse. The pic shows a shaver in perfect condition. Panasonic is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. If you are considering buying a Panasonic product reconsider.

No Telephone Cable

Purchased a new telephone and answering machine for my 82 year old uncle. Purchased because the product was described as especially suitable for older people with the large buttons and easy display.
However it doesn’t come with a telephone lead. What is the point of supplying a telephone product without the means to connect it to the telephone line.
If that is the case it should be clearly identified in the description before you purchase it

Panasonic Inverter…

We bought the Panasonic Inverter microwave (NN-SN686S) from Panasonic several months ago based on positive reviews and it worked fairly well until yesterday.
Yesterday, in the middle of preparing dinner, the door simply would NOT open, no matter what we did.

Mind you: we've had this microwave >6 months (so, YES, we understand that it comes with a factory installed child safety door lock that is required by federal law)

That is not the issue I am pointing out: we understood how to disable the lock and open the door (obviously, or how else could we have been using it for the past 6+ months?)

What I am talking about is just a complete FAILURE in its door operation, no matter what trouble-shooting techniques was used. My spouse finally had to BREAK OPEN the door (so we could serve our family a complete dinner -- there was food trapped inside it).

Forget customer service --- THERE IS NONE. I mean, there's a 1-800 number you can call - but you can't actually get any assistance.

NO MORE PANASONIC PRODUCTS FOR US.

(This is why I like to wait at least 6-months to write a review on electronics - unless it proves to be garbage right away)
